Excuse me, but who are you?

We had a nice time together on Sunday.... Even though it was raining like crazy outside, we were together and felt lots of unity on Sunday. After some great music from the FJC band, including our new awesome song we sang, we had a message from Janine.今週の日曜日は外で雨がクレイジーみたいに降ってたけど、みんなでナイスな時間を過ごした。みんなで一緒にいて凄く一体になってるって感じた。FJCバンドが新しいすっごい良い曲と何曲かグレートな曲を弾いてくれた後、ジャニンからのメッセージを聞いた。

This week, Janine finished the series on Getting Hold of Your Emotions... This last week was on Identity. The title was: Excuse me, but who are you? And that's the question: who are you? Do you know what identity mean? Janine shared a story and about how God, who created us, gave us identity that never changes. Not only that, but it's a great, positive and powerful identity! Failure... the path to Success!

If you were there on Sunday, you know that we had a great time together at FUSE Jesus Community! Even though Sunday's topic was failure, our time together was definitely a success! Don't Worry, Be Happy!

This week's FUSE Jesus Community was a great time to be together. Not only did we have a lot of new friends, but also enjoyed music from the FJC band, a great message and especially good times at Life Groups afterward!今週のFUSEもみんなで最高な時間を過ごせたね。新しいお友達と一緒にFJCバンドの音楽、素晴らしいメッセージを楽しんだ。特にFUSEの後のライフグループは、新しい仲間も加わって本当に良い時間を過ごせた。

One of our friends from the visiting with the group from Korea shared her life story with us. She talked about how she was always thought she was looking for excitement and adventure, but she realized through a relationship with God that she was really looking for security and hope. Though she had done things that she realized God hates, she found forgiveness and love from God.  韓国から来ている私たちの友達の1人がライフストーリーを分かち合ってくれた。彼女はいつも楽しみとか冒険を求めていたけど、神さまと関係をもっていく中で、本当は安心とか希望を求めているんだという事に気付いた。そして、彼女は神さまが嫌うことをそれまでやってきてしまっていたけれど、神様がそれらを許してくれて、神様から愛を受けているんだという事を見つける事が出来た。

Later, Mark shared with us about worry. We are continuing that series on Getting Hold of Your Emotions after a short break with recent events. He shared about priorities, relaxing time and how to make sure that you won't "worry your life away"-- spend your whole life worrying! It was a good message! Keeping it Simple

Sunday's FUSE Jesus Community was another special time together! This week, there was so much going on. Along with new friends, we had our regular friends plus the Break Free Break Dance team joining us from California.  日曜日のフューズジーザスコミュニティーはまた特別な時になった！今週も盛りだくさん。新しい友達といつもの仲間に加えて、カリフォルニアからブレーク フリー ダンスチームが一緒だった。

After Ty led us in some energizing music, Break Free performed for us. It was pretty awesome to see them spinning and flying around!! Then Vicente shared his lifestory with us. He is from Honduras and moved to America. He shared about how he started to have a relationship with God.タイがエナジーが出る曲にリードしてくれた後、ブレーク フリーが私達の為にまたパフォーマンスをしてくれた。スピンしたり、飛んだり超すごかった！！次にビセンテがライフストーリーをシェアしてくれた。彼は南米のホンジュラスの出身で、アメリカへの移民。彼の経験からどうやって神様との関係が始まったかを分かち合ってくれた。

 

 

Josh from the team brought us the message this week. It was called- Keep It Simple. And it was a simple message-- no matter what problem you're going through or in the middle of fear or confusion, focus on loving God and loving people. What a great message!今週はジョシュがメッセージをしてくれた。タイトルは「シンプルに生きよう」というメッセージで、シンプルなメッセージだった。それは、どんな問題を通ってるときも、恐れや混乱の中にいても愛してくれる神様と愛する人達にフォーカスしようというもの。本当にグレートなメッセージだった！

This weekend, we are having our big band rehearsal day! If you're interesting in learning more about instruments-- like the drums or guitar, please meet us in Noborito at 5pm on Saturday, June 18! All FUSE band members will be there for an instrument workshop and jam session. FUSE Jesus Community 2nd Year Anniversary!!!

What a great celebration we had a FUSE Jesus Community this week! We celebrated our second year of doing FJC. There were sooooo many new friends with us this week- more than we've ever had before!  今週のフューズジーザスコミュニティー（以下FJC）はグレートなお祝いだった!みんなでFJCの2周年記念をお祝いしました。今までないほど新しい沢山の友達がきてくれた！

 

Also, the Break Free team from California joined us and did some great break dancing. They even got some of our new friends from the crowd to learn some new moves in a fun game.  カリファリフォルニアからもブレークフリーチームが来てくれて、グレートなダンスをパフォーマンスしてくれた。来てくれた新しい友達から何人かを前に呼んで楽しいダンスゲームをやりながら、ダンスもをおしえてくれた。

Later, Daisuke Yokoyama performed for us. His music touched us all! その後で横山大輔さんもパフォーマンスしてくれた、彼の音楽も私達みんなを感動させてくれた！

What an awesome day! Hang out with us and the Break Free team more this week. This Tuesday, we'll be at Sagamiono for street band. Freedom through... forgiveness?!?

We had a great time again this week at FUSE Jesus Community!! Beside time with all of our encouraging friends, the FJC band led us in some great music. Our friend Kengo was back on guitar, after a trip to his hometown. We missed him! Also back was Yuiko. We were sure glad to see her! Then, our two Canadian friends came back from Iwaki to join us. What a great day it was!今週もフューズジーザスコミュニティーでグレートな時間を過ごしました!!勇気づけてくれる友達との時間の他にFJCバンドもまたグレートな音楽へリードしてくれた。私達の友達ケンゴが彼の実家から戻ってきてまたギターを弾いてくれた。ケンゴ、いない間寂しかったよ！ゆいこちゃんも戻ってくれた。本当に会えて嬉しかった！いわき市にボランティアに行っていたカナダ人の友達もまた一緒に時間を過ごすことができて、本当にグレートな日だった！

Though forgiveness may look like the weak option to some, it's actually the option that gives freedom to the person who was hurt. Lifting Depression Off!

This week at FUSE Jesus Community we continued our series that we've been talking about. It's called Getting Hold of Your Emotions. Mark shared with us this week about Lifting Depression. Have you ever experienced it or known someone going through depression? It's very common. Mark shared some tips that research has proven to have an effect on curing depression-- medicine, talking to someone who cares about you, exercise and prayer. And, he communicated that you are not alone! So, connect with God, who wants you to know He is with you, and connect with FJC, a community that really cares about you!今週のフューズジーザスコミュニティーも「感情に流されないための方法」シリーズからの続きをマークがシェアしてくれた。今回のタイトルはゆうつからの開放。みんな、うつうつしたり、誰かうつになったことある人を知ってる？実はうつって日常よく見聞きすることだと思う。抗うつの薬のリサーチや、誰か気にかかけてくれる人と話すこと、エクササイズ、祈りがうつには効果てきだってシェアしてくれた。そして何より君は一人じゃないってことを伝えてた！だから、神様につながって。彼はきみの事を知りたがってるし、一緒にいてくれる。フューズも君の事がきになるよ、だからフューズとコネクトして！

We also had good times this week with the FJC band-- Ty was our leader again. He led for the first time on an acoustic guitar! Janine led us in a fun game involving toilet paper, and at the end we sang happy birthday to Kin-chan, Yuiko and Ty. 今週もフューズバンドと、てもステキな時間もすごした。タイがまたワーシップリードをしてくれた。今回は初のアコースティクギターでのリードをしてくれた！ジャニンも楽しいトイレットペーパーを使ったゲームをしてくれて、最後にはバースデーだった、金ちゃんとゆいこちゃんとタイにハッピーバースデーを歌った。

Angggrrrrrrryyyyyyy.....

It was quite an international day at FUSE Jesus Community this week! We had new friends joining us from Canada and Hawaii. Also, our friend Jeremy, who visited last October, is back with us for a year this time! 先週、フューズジーザスコミュニテーはとてもインターナショナルな日だった！新しい友達がカナダとハワイからきてくれた。あと去年10月に滞在してくれたジェレミーもまた戻ってきてくれた！



Sunday was Aaron's last time at FJC... this year! We hope to see him back soon. But he did a great job leading the band on a very interesting day for us! There was a missing drum adaptor, but we managed to still have great music-- Joe did a great job improv-ing! 日曜日はアロンの今年最後のFJC・・・の時でもあった！早く戻ってきてくれないかな。こんな面白い日にアロンはまたバンドリードでいい仕事をしてくれた！ドラムのアダプターが見つからないハプニングもあったけど、ジョーも即興でいい仕事をしてくれた！
 

Mark continued the series on Getting Hold of Your Emotions. This week's topic was on Anger-- taking the "grrrr" out of anger. Everyone experiences anger and there are different types of anger-- even good ones! Did you know that? Mark shares some key points on controlling that anger and making choices that will lead us to joy. It was an interesting message! Freedom from Fear

More "new"s at FUSE Jesus Community this week!! This week, we started a new series called "Getting Hold of Your Emotions".  Janine shared with us about Freedom from Fear.  Fear can be overwhelming, but it's interesting how the Bible talks about fear and the answer for it.  Janine also shared about fear in relationships (rejection, disappointment, intimacy...).  There is also a way to be free from that!  We only get one shot at life, let's not live with regrets in life because of fear!  This was the whole topic of today.  So, check it out on vimeo and get free from fear!  http://www.vimeo.com/fusejc

Be a Baton-Passer!

As usual, we had new happenings at FUSE Jesus Community this week!  We like change.  Allan, who was with us last year, joined us this week with his dad.  Ty's parents also came, as well as some of Tim-san's family.  So, we had lots of American guests this week!今週もフューズジーザスコミュニテー(以下FJC)ではいつもの様に新しい事がおこった。私達はチェンジが大好き。去年私達と一緒にバンドをしてくれた、アランが今週はお父さんと来てくれた。タイのご両親も、ティムの家族も来てくれた。今週は沢山のアメリカからのゲストと会った！

Midori did a great job as leader on the FJC band for the first time.  The band sounded awesome as we sang together some amazing songs.  After that, Joe translated again for Mark.  This week's message was about passing the baton.  Mark said that although our goal is to be the best follower of Jesus that we can, our goal is to pass on the vision to others and help them out too! Training for Greatness

This week was great as usual at FUSE Jesus Community. We had new friends, great music and an encouraging message! Aaron, who visited us last year from Texas is back now with us visiting for a month. He joined the band and so did Midori, who debuted on vocals.今週のフューズジーザスコミュ二ティーは最高だった。新しい友達にも会えて、いい歌と励まされるメッセージも聴けた！去年テキサスからきてくれたアーロンもまた今年も来てくれて1ヶ月いてくれる。彼がまたバンドに加わり、みどりちゃんがボーカルデビューを飾ってくれた。

Our encouraging message this week was called "Training for Greatness". Mark talked about how training for what lasts is more important. Our bodies will grow old and won't last, but what's inside-- our spirit and heart-- that will! The Bible even talks about this! So, let's make our life count and grow in our spirit so that we can say, "I love my life! I love what I do!"今週の超励まされたメッセージのタイトルは「最高へのトレーニング」というタイトルでした。どのように自分の中の永遠につづいていくもをトレーニングするかが重要だっていってた。私達の体は年をとってやがて朽ち果てていく、でも心や魂はちがう。聖書もその事についてかいてある！だから、自分の人生を愛して、自分のやっていることを愛せるように、人生を通して永遠に続くスピリットを成長させていこう！
