Looooooooove!!! Happy Valentines Day from FJC!!

Happy Valentines Day!! This week we celebrated a special Valentines Day at FUSE Jesus Community!.. When coming in, everyone got a special bag of chocolates and we even got to play a very funny Valentines Day game with our new friend Anna. Everyone was laughing so much!!ハッピーバレンタインデー!!今週のフューズはみんなで特別なバレンタインデーを祝ったね。入口でみんなチョコをもらったし、アメリカから来た新しい友達のアナと超おもしろいバレンタインゲームをやって、楽しかったね!!

This Sunday, we also enjoyed some incredible music with Lizzie leading the FUSE JC band for the last time. She will play a couple more times, but soon will be moving back the US with her family. We will miss her!!そしてこの日曜、リジー最後のフューズバンドワーシップリーダーの日になっちゃたけど、音楽も最高で楽しかったね。あと数回まだ彼女の演奏は見れるけど、もうすぐ彼女はアメリカに家族と帰っちゃうんだ。淋しいよー!!

Later, Janine shared with us a message about not just celebrating one day of love, but a whole life of love! We looked at what love is and how we understand it from the media and from God. So, what is it? How does it express itself? And how do we live a life of love? Are YOU a High-Performance Person???

FUSE Jesus Community was as awesome as ever this week!  On Sunday, we were able to meet a lot of new friends and sing some cool songs about Jesus.  In the FJC band, Maki debuted singing and Yuiko sang and played guitar!  There is always something new going on at FJC!

Mark shared with us a message about High-Performance People.  It was a very encouraging message!  Have you ever noticed that it is really difficult to live a perfect life?  Have you ever tried?  Did you succeed?  It's impossible, ne!  But Mark shared with us how Jesus offers us the power to live a great life and to make the most of it!  He gave the example of some of his followers and how they were not even very educated people.  However, these were people who ended up making a difference in the world.  The people around them noted that the difference was that they had been with Jesus! マークのメッセージは『「高性能」を持ち備えた人』についてシェアしてくれたね。今までみんなパーフェクトに生きるって凄く大変って思ったことある？完ぺきに生きる事をトライしたことある？そのトライは成功したかな？そんなの不可能だよね！でも今回のメッセージでマークはジーザスがどんなに素晴らしい力を私達に与えて最高の人生をおくれるようにしてくれるかシェアしてくれた。ジーザスの弟子達を例えに、彼らは当時特に教養があったわけじゃなかったけど、世界の歴史に残る変化をとげて、彼らの周りにいた人にもその違いがジーザスからくるものだってわかるくらいだったんだって。

Now's Your Chance to Change!

This week at FUSE Jesus Community was great!! We had awesome music from the FJC band, and even a special treat-- Joe played trumpet for us! Also special, we got to hear Ty's life story. He talked about how he was full of jealousy and anger until he met Jesus and learned how loving and good he is! What a different person he is now thanks to Jesus!

今週のフューズ・ジーザス・コミュニティも最高だった！ＦＵＳＥバンドもいつもとはちょっと違った・・・なんとドラマーでもありプロトランぺッターでもあるＪｏｅのトランペットソロあり！鳥肌ものだったよ！そして、ライフストーリーの時間では、Ｔｙがこれまでの人生について語ってくれた。嫉妬心や怒りに縛られて苦しかったとき、彼はイエスに出会ったんだ。そして、自分がどれだけ愛されているかを体験して、心が変えられていったんだ。Ｔｙはこんなにも人生ＵＰできた、神さまありがとう！

Mark later shared a message with us called "Now is the Time to Change!". How exciting! He talked about the verse-- remember your creator in the days of your youth. As young people, we have so many opportunities and our options are wide for the future! There is so much possibility. Basing your life on what Jesus says will make your life strong. Talents!

This Sunday at FUSE Jesus Community was awesome！！！ Sunday's music from the FJC band was particularly powerful, and we felt touched by God through it！ How awesome it is to have such a great band！ This week, it was also quite international, as we had two visitors from Germany and Brazil, apart from our normal international crowd！ All the more fun with new friends...今週のフューズ・ジーザス・コミュニティもヤバかった！ＦＵＳＥバンドの音楽はパワフルで、神さまに心をふれられてるようなあったかさがあった！ＦＵＳＥバンド良いね☆今週はドイツやブラジルからも友達が集まってくれてインターナショナルさもパワーアップ！新しい出会いがあるとさらにハッピーだよね！

This week at FJC, Mark shared with us about using our talents. He used a story Jesus told that applies to all our lives. Mark talked about how we can use whatever we have in different areas of our lives and grow our talents to make the most of our life. Committed to Growth in 2011***

FUSE Jesus Community was awesome last Sunday!  We had a great time together and are super excited for all the great things this year has in store!  This last time we met together, we enjoyed powerful music with the FUSE band.  On the FJC band this week, we had M's debut on bass!! She did great and we were excited to have her as part of the band!

先週のフューズ・ジーザス・コミュニティも最高！新年の始まり・・・みんなですごいことを神さまに期待してる！フューズバンドと一緒にパワフルに神さまを賛美・・・今週は新しいベーシスト・Ｍちゃんのデビューもあった！彼女がベーシストとしてバンドに加わってくれて超嬉しい！！

Mark also shared with us a great message about Commitment to Growth!! He talked about how to continue to grow in your life, and how to move forward instead of just moving in place, like on a treadmill.  It was a great message that we learned so much from!

マークのメッセージは「成長への献身」と題して、生きている限り成長し続けることで、現状維持に満足するような退屈で１００％Ｍａｘじゃない人生を歩むんじゃなく、前進し続けていけるっていうパワフルなメッセージだった！

One other thing this week-- we voted for the FUSE Tshirt design!! If you didn't have the opportunity to vote, you still have one more chance on this Sunday-- but it's your last chance to have a say on what the tshirt will look like!! We are excited, as many people contributed awesome designs.  Which one will it be??

On this first FUSE Jesus Community of 2011, we had a great time with the FUSE band, hearing awesome music about Jesus. Also, the last message of 2010 suggested, we looked back at the story of FJC until now. What a journey it's been! And in many ways, so unexpected! Soulful Christmas

What an special Soulful Christmas we had this past Sunday!  It was fantastic!  So many people showed up for this great day in which we had music from Yukiko Tanaka and her group~ Y's!  They did a great job!  We also had music from our FUSE Jesus Community band, in which Ryan debuted!
先週の日曜は超スペシャルなソウルフル・クリスマスだった！やばい！プロシンガー田中雪子さん率いるＹ’ｓのスペシャルライブ、ＦＵＳＥバンドではＲｙａｎのギターデビュー、イエスのバースデーを祝うため、たっくさんの人たちが集まってくれて大盛り上がりだった♪

Mark shared with us a great message about Jesus, since Christmas is after all-- all about him!  As Mark pointed out, it could be called Jesus Festival!  Pretty awesome!!  Please check out this great message and many others on Vimeo... you'll enjoy them!

Afterward, we all had a great time at the FJC Christmas Party which was held at TGI Friday's in Machida!  We all enjoyed tasty food, lots of great conversation and laughter and so much fun!
ＦＵＳＥ終了後はみんなしてＴＧＩＦへレッツゴー！ＦＵＳＥクリスマスディナーはみんなで過ごすアットホームで楽しいひとときだったね☆おいしいご飯と楽しい会話、そして笑い声！もうやばかった！
