Perparing for Success

Fuse Jesus Community had a great time this week!! Mark talked about how God wants us to be successful. God gives us the strength to do good work if we obey God's word. We need to fulfill our dreams and know that God is supporting us.フューズジーザスコミュ二ティーでは今週も凄い時間を過ごした！！神様が私達をどんなに成功させたいかについてマークが話してくれた。神様についていくとき、神様は私達に良い仕事ができるように力をくれる。神様が私達をサポートしてくれるから夢を実現できる。

The band played some great music this Sunday! And Fuse had a great time at Sagamiono park on Saturday!!バンドはこの日曜日もグレートな音楽を演奏してくれた！土曜日も相模大野公園でグレートな時間をすごしたよ！！

You Can Be Pure Again

It has been such a great week for Fuse Jesus Community!! Mark talked about the importance of remaining pure for marriage. God wants our marriages to be full of love and respect for each other. God also wants to renew the hearts of people who didn't wait until marriage. The Fuse band played very encouraging music this week!! Kengo also shared with us how knowing Jesus has made his relationships better.フューズバンドは今週も凄い励ましになる曲を演奏してくれた！！ケンゴもジーザスを知ることによって彼の恋愛関係がどう良くなったかについてシェアしてくれた。 


There are a lot of wonderful things planned for Fuse this week. Street Live will be held at 7pm on Tuesday at Sagamiono Station and Friday at Shinyurigaoka Station! Saturday is the Girl's Dance night at 6pm in Noborito. What's YOUR Reason to Celebrate?

Opportunity of a Lifetime!

Last Saturday was all about Opportunities at Fuse Jesus Community!!  Last weekend, in the FUSE band, C had the opportunity to sing for the first time in the band!  We've heard her on the streets doing street band, but this was her first time with the band!  She sounded great, and added a nice touch to the exciting FUSE band!  前回のフューズ･ジーザス･コミュニティでは、ストリートバンドでいつも活躍してくれているＣちゃんの初・フューズシンガーデビューだった！最高にステキな歌声が、私たちの最高な神さまに向けて天に響き渡った！フューズ･バンド最高♪　Also, during our game time, Mike introduced us to a new version of Rock, Paper, Scissors.  We all had the chance to play against one another and advance to have the opportunity to win against the leaders of the game!  It was very amusing!  ゲームタイムでは、マイクが’じゃんけんぽん’の新スタイルを提案・・・最後まで勝ち抜いた人がステージ上のボスと対決！新感覚じゃんけんぽんをみんなで楽しんだよ！

Anpanman!!

Last Saturday at Fuse Jesus Community, Mike lead everyone there in a very fun game using hand motions to a beat.  Everyone had smiles or laughter as we tried to keep up with the beat and use the right motions.  前回のフューズ・ジーザス･コミュニティ では、Ｍｉｋｅが手の動きとリズムとを使ったＣｏｏｌなゲームコーナーをリードしてくれたよ！みんな列に並んで、ラインダンスのようにビートにあわせて1,2,3,4・・・笑いの溢れる時間だった！Do you like Anpanman?  Mark gave a very interesting message using Anpanman as an example. He talked about Anpanman and learned some ideas that we think he may have gotten from Jesus! Adventures in Joy!

FUSE Jesus Community was quite an adventure this past weekend!  Despite some technical problems we encountered on Saturday, we still had a good time and it was an opportunity to see many people take on different roles in helping out at FUSE!  What a great group of people!  Mike shared his life story with us and told about how his life really changed when he realised that Jesus wanted a relationship with him.前回のFUSE Jesus Communityはアドベンチャーな週末だった！テクニカル面でのトラブルがいくつかあったにも関わらず、その中でみんながひとつになってＦＵＳＥをうごかしている様子が最高だった！なんてチームワーク！そしてマイクが自分のライフストーリーを語ってくれたよ。イエスが自分とパーソナルなレベルでつながりたいと願っていることに気づいた時、彼の人生がどれだけ変えられたかについてシェアしてくれた。

Fuse Fuse Fuse!!!

We had a great first weekend of July at FUSE Jesus Community!  In this first week after our One Year Anniversary, there was a lot going on!  First, we had our friends visiting from Tempe, Arizona!  They were a lot of fun and introduced a game to us that had a lot of people laughing!  Also, our friends L and C were back and joined the FUSE band, and it was pretty incredible!  The group from Arizona thought the FUSE band was really special and had exceptional music.  前回のFuse Jesus Communityも超盛り上がった！一周年バースデーパーティ後の最初のFJCということもあり、まだお祭りムードの余韻が残っていた☆まず、アメリカ・アリゾナ州からテンピ･ビンヤード・チームが今週も加わってくれた！チームメイトの一人がゲームをリードしてくれて、みんな大爆笑だったね！二つ目に、LちゃんとCちゃんが帰国、Fuseバンドに帰ってきてくれた！今週もFuseバンドは最高の音楽を神さまに奏でてくれた！ 

Also, Mark shared with us on Releasing our Potential!  It was an encouraging message about how to become all that we were created to be, because everyone is uniquely created with a purpose!  Mark also helped us to point out some attitudes that can keep us from succeeding in life, and some attitudes we should acquire! Check out the message on vimeo, because it's worth your time! そして、マークのメッセージは「自分の可能性を解き放つ」。私たちはみんなひとりひとりが超特別な目的を持って、超特別な方法で神さまに造られた。だから、自分がなるべき最大限の自分になりたいよね！そのためのいくつかの実践的な方法をマークが話してくれたよ。すごく励まされた！人生で成功するために必要なのは「自分ならできる」って、まず信じてみることなんだよね。VimeoにこのメッセージもUpされてるので、みんな見る価値ありだよ！

Also, last Tuesday we had fun with our Arizona friends at an International Party/Goodbye Party for Sally!  Even though it was sad to say goodbye to our talented friend who returned to America, we had a good night.  Many people participated in a game of Around the World Pingpong, which help everyone's attention.  There was a lot of good food and Sally sang us a song with her powerful voice!  What a great evening!先週火曜は、テンピ･ビンヤード･チームのウェルカム＆サリーのグッバイパーティが登戸にて開かれました！さよならを言うのは悲しかったけど、みんな最高な時間を一緒に過ごせました！たくさんの人が参加して、ピンポン台の周りをぐるぐる回るワールド・ピンポン・ゲームも超楽しかった！最後にサリーが彼女の超美しい声を披露してくれた。

Happy Birthday FJC!!

What a hit!!  FUSE Jesus Community's FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY was definitely a success!!  Everyone was very excited for this special day, and so many people showed up that we did not have enough chairs!  Even so, the music from the group from Yokohama, ImariTones (check them out on Youtube) was excellent and our own FUSE band sounded particularly fine this last Saturday night.  It was an amazing evening and Mark shared with us a little about the last year and the perseverance it has required, but how we are excited and believing for an incredible next year!! 大ヒット!!Fuse Jesus Communityの初☆バースデーパーティは大成功だった!みんなこのスペシャルな日を楽しみにしていた!そしてたくさんの人たちが参加してくれて、椅子も足りないほど!横浜から来てくれたIMARi ToNES（Youtubeで検索してみてね）のライブは最高!FuseBandも一発目の賛美でパーティを更に盛り上げた!そしてマークが今までの一年を振り返りショートメッセージをしてくれた。神様はこれまでにたくさんすごいことを行って、私たちを助けてくれた。でもベストはまだこれから!これは始まりに過ぎない!新しい一年のはじまりにワクワクしてるよ!!

Gearing Up to ONE YEAR!!!

At FUSE Jesus Community, we had a good time together last Saturday!  Apart from the normal great music from the FUSE band, we had fun communicating in a telephone game... all in Japanese!  Even those who do not speak Japanese as their first language played, so it was very interesting to see the outcome of the ggggphrases we had to communicate!  Mark also shared with us an important message about Jesus-- One Way!  Jesus said He was the Way, the Truth and the Life!  And it's true!  You should check out the message on vimeo, because it's a good one!　前回のＦＪＣも最高でした☆ＦｕｓｅＢａｎｄの生ゴスペルライブに加え、ゲームコーナーでは会場全員を巻き込んでの伝言ゲーム!!!日本語を話せない人たちも交えてのゲームだったから、最後まで行き渡ってからの言葉の変化がめちゃくちゃおもしろかった!!!マークのメッセージは「イエスが唯一の道」っていう超重要なトピックだった!イエス自身が「道であり、真理であり、いのちである」って自分のことを聖書で語っている。それは最高な信実!!ＶｉｍｅｏにもメッセージビデオをＵｐしているので、みんな見てエネルギーチャージしてね！

Right after our final song of the day, we had a surprise in store for some special people.  K-chan had just celebrated her birthday, and Y-chan, who spends so much time and effort in making FUSE Jesus Community a success was about to celebrate her birthday!  We had a cake for them to blow the candles out on and also a clip celebrating Yuiko and many of us were in the photos!  We hung out and enjoyed our time together, eating cake and celebrating!  Afterward, at the cafe where we had dinner, we also enjoyed time talking about everything from the message that Mark shared with us to the World Cup game and teams and scores!　ＦＪＣ終了後にはなんとサプライズ･パーティ!ＦＪＣのために頑張ってくれているＫちゃんとＹちゃんのバースデー!!ケーキの上のろうそくの火を一緒に消して、その後はスライドショーもなんと上映☆ケーキを一緒に食べて、最高な時間だった!そのあとはＣａｆｅへＧＯ!ワールドカップのことや、今日聞いたメッセージについて、みんなとほんわかタイム♪

Retro FUSE Jesus Community!!!

Last Saturday's Retro FUSE was totally cool!  For this special event, we had a different start time-- 6:30!  Many dressed in their Retro or hippie fashions, and we had a "groovy" time!  Some of our talented FUSE Band members sang some acoustic style songs at the beginning that brought back fun memories.  We also practiced our Retro dance skills in a fun game that looked at dances from up to 60 years ago!  Wow!  Our brave contestants did a great job! 前回のRetroFUSEは超Coolな時間だった。１８：３０スタートといういつもとは違った雰囲気の中スタート。レトロ／ヒッピーなファッションでグルービーに楽しみました。FUSEバンドの才能溢れたメンバーによるRetroMusicのBGMで始まり、レトロ･ダンス・ゲームでは勇敢な２人の参加者が６０年前にもさかのぼるダンスを、Videoを見ながら披露してくれました!

Mark brought us a few words of encouragement about having healthy respect for the past-- not getting stuck in the past, but learning from it and moving forward!  We toasted to Jesus afterward-- it was great to celebrate Him!  We ended the night just hanging out and enjoying our time together and enjoying snacks.  What an AWESOME time!　マークのメッセージは、過去に正しい尊敬をはらい、過去に縛られるのではなくてそこから何かを学び、前に進んで行こうっていう励ましに満ちたメッセージでした。そして、最後に私たちにこの最高の人生を与えてくれるイエスにみんなでグラスを持って乾杯♪スナックを食べながらみんなで過ごす時間はかけがえのないものでした☆

Love LOVE Love

What an interesting time we had at FUSE Jesus Community this weekend!  This last Saturday, so much happened!  We had our last Saturday with Aaron (for now, we're hoping and expecting he'll be back with us!), and he shared with us a little about his life and what he discovered about vision in his life.  Right before that, we had a little fun with apples.  Have you ever tried to bite an apple without using your hands?  Three volunteers did on Saturday, and it was pretty amusing! 前回のＦＪＣも最高の週末だった！残念ながら、アロンとの最後のＦＪＣ（今の時点では・・・☆）。彼が発見した人生のビジョン、イエスとの歩みについて話してくれた。今週のゲームはリンゴ早食い競争！手を使わずに吊るされているリンゴを食べたことある？参加してくれた３人最高だった！

THIS WEEK at FUSE is going to be AWESOME!!  If you can make it on Saturday, you should definitely plan to be there because it will be a night to remember!  At 6:30pm, we're going to have RETRO FUSE!!! Livin' Your Dream!

Also, this weekend, we had a friend visit us from America.  His name is Aaron and he played on the FUSE band this weekend with our regular members.  Wow!  It was some pretty great music.  He also participated in a game with some of our friends trying to get peanuts from one table to another via a straw!  Sound funny?  It was! :)　そして、アメリカから新しく来てくれたメンバーもいたね☆アロンはＦｕｓｅＢａｎｄでベースを弾いてくれたよ！超Ｃｏｏｌだった♪そして、ストローでピーナッツをひとつずつ吸って移動させるピーナッツ・レースでも大活躍！なんてクレイジーなゲーム・・・！

World Changing Japan

If you were at FUSE Jesus Community last Saturday, you know that we had a wonderful afternoon together.  Great friends, great music, and a great message!!  Unfortunately, this was Debbie and Allan's last FUSE with us (for now, anyway) and our game that afternoon was an interview with them, asking for their perspective on their time here in Japan.  We'll miss you! 

前回のＦＪＣに来ていたみんな、一緒に楽しい時間を過ごせたね！最高の友達、音楽、そしてメッセージ！残念なことに、前回はデビーとアランにとって最後のＦＪＣでした（必ず帰ってきてね！）。日本での経験についてとてもポジティブに語ってくれた二人。さびしくなるよ！

Afterward, Mark gave a great message called Committed Japan: World Changers!  Japan is a great country and a leading country in this world, in everything from economy to fashion and technology.  Japanese are cool people!  But it's also important that we recognize the ability for everyone to be world changers.  We don't want to get to the end of our life and look back and wonder what it was all about.  What is your vision for your life?  Do you know?  With Jesus, we have a sure vision and a definite destiny that is promised to be good and adventurous!  It may take time and lots of work, but we can do it!

マークのメッセージは「献身的な国、日本-世界を変える仲間たち」。日本は経済、ファッション、技術において世界で最先端を行く国。日本人は超Ｃｏｏｌ！でも、自分の中にある世界を変える可能性に気づくことはすごく大事なこと。人生の終わりに、振り返ってみて後悔したくない。自分の人生のビジョンはなんだろう？みんな知ってる？イエスにあって、私たちは人生のビジョンを得て、冒険に満ちた最高の人生の目的を得ることができる！時間と労力が伴うかもしれない。でも、不可能じゃない！

After FUSE, we went bowling at Round 1 and enjoyed each other's company and tried out our bowling skills.  Some of you were really great!  It's always so much fun when we get together, what a great community this is! 

ＦＪＣ終了後、みんなでラウンドワンへ行ったよ！いっしょに時間を過ごしたり、ボーリングを楽しんだり・・・最高のコミュニティ☆

Well, next Saturday at FUSE Jesus Community, we're going to have more great music and another great message.  Be sure to be there, and bring your friends too!  We always love to have lots of people and get to know each other!

FJC is OPEN every Saturday for ANYONE! We meet at a livehouse called Livezone Z in Machida, Tokyo from 3pm every Saturday. You'll receive a free drink ticket on your first visit :) We will be standing at the North Exit of Odakyu Machida Station (after coming up the stairs) at 2:45PM, so if you feel nervous coming to the FUSE by yourself, come and meet us at the station exit!　If you have any questions, please write to us at：　thefuse09@gmail.com

Change Began With Us!!

We had a very exciting afternoon at FUSE Jesus Community!  We had fun hanging out together with one another with impressive music and an inspiring and challenging message!  Sally made her debut in the FUSE band singing, and later lead us in a game of marshmellow-whistling!  It was amazing to see the talent of some our friends.  Allan also shared his life story with us and how Jesus has made an impact in his life.  Later, Mark shared a message about how change begins first in ourselves.  He talked about the two types of people there are in life, and that if we want to see change in our lives, it comes when we begin with ourselves, through the help of Jesus!  Wow!  It was a great message, and we had some really good times in super-small groups talking. 前回のＦＪＣも超エキサイティングだった！最高な音楽とインスピレーションたっぷりな音楽で、みんなと楽しい時間を過ごしました！サリーはＦｕｓｅＢａｎｄのヴォーカリストデビュー♪その後マシュマロを口いっぱいに入れた状態で口笛を吹くっていうクレイジーなゲームをリードしてくれたよ。そしてアランのライフストーリーでは、イエスがどんな風に彼の人生を導き、インパクトを与えてくれたかについて分かち合ってくれた。マークのメッセージは「変化は自分から」！人には「救世士タイプ」と「被害者タイプ」がいて、それが壁になり自分自身がまずかわらなくちゃいけないっていうコンセプトを曇らせるんだって。でも、イエスはそんな私たちを助けてくれる。自分の変わらなければいけない部分に目を向け、変化を起こすチカラだって彼はくれるんだよ！すごい励ましでいっぱいのメッセージだった☆（メッセージは左のアイコンから動画配信してます！）

This week, there is a lot of stuff going on in FUSE Jesus Community!  It will be Debbie and Allan's last weekend with us at the FUSE before Debbie returns to America and Allan to Korea.  There will be a fun interview looking back at their time in Japan!  Don't miss it!  Also, afterward, we're going BOWLING!!  We'll head to Round 1 after the FUSE meeting and practice our bowling skills.　今週のＦＪＣも盛りだくさん！デビーとアラン帰国前のラストのＦＪＣなので、みんな彼らに会う最後のチャンスを逃さないで！その後はボーリングパーティ♪ＦＪＣ終了後にラウンドワンへレッツゴー！

-Monday, May 24, we will have a Goodbye Party for Debbie and Allan.  It will be at Noborito Ekklesia at 7pm on the 2nd Floor!  If you don't know how to get there, meet at the Noborito Station at the Odakyu Line around 6:50 and someone with the FJC sign will be there to meet you!  It will be a great time to say goodbye to them and show them our love.  Everyone will bring a snack to share, so there will be lots of great food!  Hope to see you there!　5月24日（月）デビーとアランのグッバイパーティ☆登戸エクレシアキリスト教会の２階を借ります。午後７時から！午後６時５０分に小田急登戸駅改札口にて待ち合わせ☆スナック一品持ち寄りで集まろう！
