Perparing for Success

Fuse Jesus Community had a great time this week!! Mark talked about how God wants us to be successful. God gives us the strength to do good work if we obey God's word. We need to fulfill our dreams and know that God is supporting us.フューズジーザスコミュ二ティーでは今週も凄い時間を過ごした！！神様が私達をどんなに成功させたいかについてマークが話してくれた。神様についていくとき、神様は私達に良い仕事ができるように力をくれる。神様が私達をサポートしてくれるから夢を実現できる。

The band played some great music this Sunday! And Fuse had a great time at Sagamiono park on Saturday!!バンドはこの日曜日もグレートな音楽を演奏してくれた！土曜日も相模大野公園でグレートな時間をすごしたよ！！

You Can Be Pure Again

It has been such a great week for Fuse Jesus Community!! Mark talked about the importance of remaining pure for marriage. God wants our marriages to be full of love and respect for each other. God also wants to renew the hearts of people who didn't wait until marriage. The Fuse band played very encouraging music this week!! Kengo also shared with us how knowing Jesus has made his relationships better.フューズバンドは今週も凄い励ましになる曲を演奏してくれた！！ケンゴもジーザスを知ることによって彼の恋愛関係がどう良くなったかについてシェアしてくれた。 


There are a lot of wonderful things planned for Fuse this week. Street Live will be held at 7pm on Tuesday at Sagamiono Station and Friday at Shinyurigaoka Station! Saturday is the Girl's Dance night at 6pm in Noborito. Bowling Bowling Bowling!!!

Last Saturday at FUSE Jesus Community, we started with listening to FUSE Band play some great Christian rock music. Also there was a game involving eating bananas quickest. Debbie gave an encouraging messaging about having joy, praying always, and being thankful in everything. After our regular FUSE meeting, FJC moved to a nearby bowling alley in Machida to try our hand at bowling. It was heaps of fun hanging out and chucking bowling balls at pins (or on occasion, into the gutter.) 前回のFJCでは、HannahリードボーカルでFUSEバンドがCoolなクリスチャンロックをお届けしました☆二人掛りで協力してバナナを食べるレースもあった（笑）。メッセージはDebbieちゃん。喜び、祈り、感謝の心を持つことで、私たちは最高の人生を送れるっていう元気の出るメッセージだった！！FJC終了後は町田ボーリングセンターへ☆みんなめちゃめちゃ楽しんでた！ガーターもでまくり（笑）。筋肉痛の人も出たっていううわさも・・・♪

This week for FUSE Jesus Community, we have a couple of fun events coming up. This Tuesday (March 2nd) at 7pm is another jam night in Noborito. If you play an instrument, sing, or would just love to listen, come to Noborito Ekklesia church and have a great time (if you need directions to the church, or someone to pick you up at the station, please email us right away for more info.) Also, this Saturday in Machida is our regular FJC meeting at 3pm so don't miss it! Take a Risk and Grow...

Last Saturday at FUSE Jesus Community, we had a blast listening to awesome music from FUSE Band and playing a game to see who could blow the largest bubble from bubblegum. Also, heard a great message from Mark on taking risks. He spoke on how we grow thru taking risks even though they're hard, and challenged us to take 2 risks specifically - Risk Loving and Risk Believing.前回のFJCでは、FUSEバンドの生ライブでみんな熱く盛り上がった!チューインガムふくらましゲームでは、FUSEガールズのPowerがすごかった!マークのメッセージは、「リスクを負って僕らは成長する」。人生そのものがリスクを伴うもの!でも、どんなふうにリスクを負うことを恐れずに一歩踏み出すことで、みんなの毎日はもっと満たされることができる。リスクを負って愛すること、信じること。この2つの鍵を覚えて、今週一週間も歩いていこう。

This week at FUSE Jesus Community, there are a couple special events. This Tuesday, the 23rd, there is a jam night in Noborito at 7pm. If you play an instrument or enjoy singing or even just want to listen, email us for directions and come have fun with us. This Saturday at FJC will be our normal event in Machida, but directly after, we will all go bowling together. Everyday Valentines

Last Saturday at FUSE Jesus Community, Valentines Day was celebrated by watching a funny valentines video starring Darth Vader and Pink Bunny (the video can be watched on FJC's youtube site - www.youtube.com/newdayjapan ), a message from Mark titled Everyday Valentines, and the FUSE girls giving chocolate to all the guys attending. Hawaiian Night is coming up!!

Last Saturday at FUSE Jesus Community, some guys got to experience fishing from the other side of the stick with "Donut Fishing." A donut was tied to the end of a fishing pole where they had to try to eat it without using their hands at all. Also we had great music from the FUSE Band and Debbie continued our message series by speaking on why Jesus died. She spoke on how Jesus wants a friendship with each of us and died to save our lives. 前回のFJCではドーナッツ釣りゲーム！といってもドーナッツを釣るのではなく、ドーナッツに釣られるゲーム・・・！つり竿につながれたドーナッツを手を使わずに早く食べ終わった方の勝ち！2人のBoysが魚気分を思う存分に味わいました☆Fuse Bandのライブも最高だった！Debbieのメッセージは、「イエスが私たちの友達になりたがってるんだよ」っていう最高な内容。イエスは、死へのHighwayまっしぐらだった私たちを救うため、その命さえ惜しまずに捧げてくれた。それほどの愛、この世には存在しない！！そして、その愛はみんなが受け取ってくれるのを待っているんだよ！こんなすごい愛、体験したいって人はみんなFJCに来て！！私たちが、最高のともだちイエスにみんなを紹介します☆

This Thursday, there is a special event - a game night in Noborito. We will play awesome games like Dutch Blitz, Uno, Phase 10, and many more, so please come. If you would like to come, it starts at 6:30 and you can email us for directions. Also, this Saturday at FJC is a special event. Instead of meeting at 3, we will be meeting at 6:30 for a Hawaiian Night. Come and warm yourself up from this cold winter with surfing games, hawaiian snacks, hula dancing, and much more. Happy New Year!!!

This past week, FUSE Jesus Community did not havea the regular Saturday meeting because of New Years. We did, however, have a New Years Eve party. There was lots of fun making mochi, eating food, hanging out, and playing games.先週のFuse Jesus Communityは新年のためお休みでしたが、大晦日に有志でもちつきパーティを楽しみました！一緒に食べたり、おしゃべりしたり、ゲームをしたりと盛りだくさんな時間をすごしたね！

This Saturday at FJC will be our FIRST meeting of this year. There will be music from FUSE Band and a video about crazy foreigners in Japan. Gospel Christmas Party!!!

This past Saturday at FUSE Jesus Community was the Gospel Christmas Party. Special guests, The Singers, came and sang Christmas songs in addition to the FUSE Band. There was also an encouraging Christmas message from Mark about how Jesus brings hope, love, joy, and peace. There was a relay race of dressing up in a Santa costume quickest. Santa himself visited FJC and brought gifts and cookies for each person.前回のFJCはゴスペル・クリスマス・パーティで盛り上がった！シンガーズのスペシャル・ライブでは、クリスマス・ソングを堪能♪マークのクリスマスメッセージは、イエスが希望、望み、愛、平和を運ぶためにこの世に生まれてきたっていう励ましのメッセージ。サンタの衣装着替えリレーではみんなが良いチームワークを見せてくれたね☆そして、なんと、本物？？のサンタクロースがFJCにプレゼントを届けにも来てくれたよ♪

Next Saturday at FUSE Jesus Community, come join us for more awesome music, a fun game, and an encouraging message. On December 28th (Monday), there will be a ski trip. We will depart on a bus the evening of the 27th (Sunday) and return by Monday evening (28th). Cost will be approximately 7000 yen per person. For more details, we need to know who is coming, so please email or contact us if you plan to go. RSVP no later than December ２４th. International Food Party!!!

Last Saturday at FUSE Jesus Community we had the International Food Party. There was food from America, Japan, Israel, and Brazil. Also,there was a race to see who could finish different foods first and a message on giving "Cheers to Jesus."前回のFJCでは、祝・第一回インターナショナル･フード・パーティが開催されました！アメリカ、日本、イスラエル、ブラジルのおいしい食べ物が並びました！食べ物にちなんだリレー式早食いレースもあり、メッセージではイエスに乾杯したよ♪

This Saturday, join us at FJC for our Gospel Christmas Party. Special guests, The Singers, will sing Gospel Christmas songs as well as hearing the FUSE Band. Also come and join in on fun games, great hangout, and an encouraging Christmas message.次回のFJCではゴスペル･クリスマス･パーティを開催！シンガーズによる生のゴスペル･ライブあり、FUSEバンドライブあり、ゲームあり、メッセージありの盛りだくさんなラインアップ！

Also join us December 28th for a ski trip. Everyone will be leaving the evening of the 27th and return by the morning of the 29th. Cost will be approximately 7000 yen per person. Who's the best actor??

This week at FUSE Jesus Community was a blast as people tested out their acting skills in the game Charades. The actors had to have the audience guess what they were acting correctly without talking. We also enjoyed great music from the FUSE Band and a message on "Commission for the Mission" from Mark. 前回のFUSE JESUS COMMUNITYも最高だった♪　シャレーズというパントマイムゲームで、みんなの演技力を拝見・・・もちろんFUSEバンドのライブあり、マークによる”使命を受けて送り出される”というタイトルのメッセージもあり、盛り沢山でした！

This Saturday at FJC, we will not be meeting at 3 like usual. Instead, our special event "International Food Party" will be held at six thirty. Come for awesome food from America, Brazil, Israel, and Japan along with great music and a cool message. It will cost only five hundred yen for both food and a drink. The Man who changed the world...

This week at FUSE Jesus Community was the kickoff of a new series - The Man Who Changed the World. Mark used the statement "God became an ant" which was explained by the illustration that the only way to warn ants that they're in danger is to become one yourself. In the same way, the only way God could save us was by becoming a human Himself, and so Jesus came.今週のFJCは、マークのメッセージ新シリーズが開始しました!タイトルは「世界を変えた男」。蟻をたとえにしたおもしろいイラストレーションを用いて、神が死へのハイウェイまっしぐらな人間を救うためには、神自身が人間になって私たちのところに来る必要があったんだってことをわかりやすく話してくれた。 

There are more awesome events coming up at FUSE soon. This Saturday at FJC, Joe will speak, continuing the message series, "The Man Who Changed the World." We will also have great music from the FUSE Band and a game as well. December 12th we will have an International Food Party. December 19th will be our Christmas party. Also, a ski trip is planned for the end of December. Mark your calendars now, because you don't want to miss these awesome events! Karaoke FUSE!!

We had great fun at FJC Saturday as we all went to karaoke together. Thank you to everyone who showed up; it was so awesome to sing and hang out with each of you! But don't worry if you missed this hangout time, because there are many more fun events coming up at FUSE Jesus Community soon. Be watching for info on the International Food Day, Christmas Party, and Ski Trip coming up in December. This week, Debbie spoke on the importance of the choices we make. There are many decisions we make each day, and the power behind our choices is stronger than we realize. This Saturday, Mark will begin a new series called "The Man Who Changed the World." We are the Community!!

This week at FUSE Jesus Community was a blast as Mark spoke on who we are in more detail. The word "fuse" has a few different meanings which our name comes from....to connect 2 things and the spark that sets off an explosion. We want FJC to be the beginning of an explosion of love and life in Japan, and we do that thru connecting with God and others. 前回のFUSE JESUS COMMUNITYは最高だった！マークのFJCの名前の由来に関するメッセージで、絆がもっと深まった！フューズっていうのは、「2つのものをつなげる」っていう意味と、「導火線（爆弾にくっついてる紐）」の意味がある。FJCは、神さまの愛が日本でおっきく爆発する前の導火線であり、神さまと人々、また仲間同士がつながるための場でもある！

Next week at FJC will be special, as we will finish at 4 pm and go to karaoke following. We will be starting right at 3 so come early so you don't miss anything. Then, be prepared for an awesome time hanging out and singing for a couple hours with the group. Halloween Party

This weekend, many people were out wearing costumes as Halloween was celebrated. This week at FUSE Jesus Community was no different; Darth Vader, a ninja, Elmo, a pig, a laundry basket, and many more arrived to have fun with the music, playing limbo, and hearing a great message.今週のFUSEでは、ハロウィンパーティ！みんな仮装して登場。ダースベーダー、忍者、エルモ、ブタちゃん、洗濯バスケット･･･バンドのライブとリンボーゲームでみんな盛り上がり、Carenの素晴らしいメッセージに心打たれました！
The message this week was given by Caren. She spoke on God's love and what true love is really like. She spoke about how God's love is available for anyone, no matter what.前回のメッセージは神の愛について。真実の愛って、口で言うのは簡単だけど、本当は一体どんなものなんだろう。神の真実の愛はみんなのためにあって、無条件に受け取れるものなんだよって、Carenが語ってくれました！

FUSE JESUS COMMUNITY...!!!!

This week signified a new start as there were some changes at the FUSE. Mark spoke about these changes. Perhaps the most noticeable change is the name; instead of just being referred to as the "FUSE", we are now being called "FUSE JESUS COMMUNITY"!! We want to emphasize that this is not just an event, but a community full of relationships that last all week long between each other and God. 今週のFUSEは、新たな始まりの詰まった集まりになった!Markが話してくれたように、その中でも一番大きなChangeは、この集まりの名前。今までは"The FUSE"って呼んでたけど、これからは"FUSE JESUS COMMUNITY"になりました!!何でか?っていうと、これがただのイベントなんじゃなくて、たくさんの友達、そして神さまとの絆を深めていくコミュニティであって、そのつながりは毎週土曜だけじゃなくずぅっと続いてくんだよっていうFUSEの全貌をみんなにもっとよく知ってほしかったから!!

Though many of the surface things are changing during this time, our heart remains. FUSE JESUS COMMUNITY is still focused on building relationships with people and with God, bringing hope to everyone we meet, and having a fun time together!! 名前の変化とか表面的なことが変わっても、私たちのハートは変わらない!FUSE JESUS COMMUNITYは人と神さまとのつながりにフォーカスしてて、出会う人みんなに希望をシェアして、一緒にエキサイティングな時間を過ごしたいっていうコアな部分は変わってないんだ!

There was also a lot of awesome dancing this week. From the group on stage, to Tokumasa breakdancing on the floor. From the dance-off game where Debbie taught a dance to see who could do it best, to everyone dancing during the FUSE Band music. It was awesome to see everyone's moves and the freedom in the music. 前回のFJC（FUSE JESUS COMMUNITY）では超クールなダンスユニットも登場してくれた!Tokumasaのブレイクダンスも最高!DebbieのDance-Offゲームでもみんな大盛り上がり♪ダンスの余韻はThe FUSE Bandのライブにも続き、音楽に合わせてみんなが踊る様子はもう最高だった!

Gospel is Good News!!!

Last week at the FUSE, we heard Smiley Yasu's story of what God had done to change his life. Following that, Mark shared on what the word "Gospel" really means. Gospel is another word for "good news." This specifically speaks of the good news of how Jesus traded his righteousness for all the bad we've done, so that we can come before God.前回のFUSEでは、我らがSimely Yasuによるライフストーリーのシェアリングがありました♪神さまがどんな風に彼の人生を変えてくれたかを話してくれたよ！続いてMarkのメッセージ、「ゴスペルってなんだ？？」。ゴスペルの語源は”Good News”だって知ってた?イエスが私たちの汚い部分を全部無償で負って、彼の聖さを私たちにくれる。それがGood　Newsなんだよ！

The FUSE Day Out!!!

Hooray! It's a holiday and we now get time to just relax and hang out with friends. The FUSE celebrated this with the FUSE Day Out. We enjoyed obentos and games in the park and finished the day off with karaoke. It was so much fun! Thank you everyone for turning up!

This past FUSE, we had awesome music from the FUSE band and a great message from Mark. The message was on "Overcoming Fear." When we are afraid of something, we let that fear control us, but in overcoming our fears there is freedom. At the next FUSE, be looking forward to more awesome music, games, hangout with friends, and a message on "failure-the path to success".
