A healing power that restores us...

This past Saturday at FUSE Jesus Community, a danceoff was held. After watching a video about a crazy foreigner searching for a ninja, our very own ninja came out on stage to show some dance and fighting moves and see who could replicate best. At FJC, as always we had FUSE Band playing some great music, and Mark gave a message on what Jesus did on earth. He preached good news of healing and hope, but He also lived it. Jesus healed back then and He still does today as well. 前回のFuse Jesus Communityではダンスバトルが繰り広げられました！忍者を追い続ける在日アメリカ人のオモシロVideoを上映後、なんと本物（？）のカンフーファイターがFJCに乗り込んできた！！カンフーファイターの挑戦に挑む勇敢な男子ふたりがダンスバトルにチャレンジ！Fuse BandのExcitingなライブあり、Markのメッセージも最高だった！イエスは希望と癒しを届けるために地球に来た。その癒しと希望の働きは今日も変わらず、私たちの人生を最高のものにしようと両手を広げて待っている！

This Saturday at FUSE Jesus Community, Debbie will give a message on "The Cross." There will also be awesome music and a game of donut fishing. The following Saturday at FJC (January 23rd) is a special event to warm you up from this cold weather; we will not be meeting at 3, but instead we will start at 6:30 for our Hawaiian night. Gospel Christmas Party!!!

This past Saturday at FUSE Jesus Community was the Gospel Christmas Party. Special guests, The Singers, came and sang Christmas songs in addition to the FUSE Band. There was also an encouraging Christmas message from Mark about how Jesus brings hope, love, joy, and peace. There was a relay race of dressing up in a Santa costume quickest. Santa himself visited FJC and brought gifts and cookies for each person.前回のFJCはゴスペル・クリスマス・パーティで盛り上がった！シンガーズのスペシャル・ライブでは、クリスマス・ソングを堪能♪マークのクリスマスメッセージは、イエスが希望、望み、愛、平和を運ぶためにこの世に生まれてきたっていう励ましのメッセージ。サンタの衣装着替えリレーではみんなが良いチームワークを見せてくれたね☆そして、なんと、本物？？のサンタクロースがFJCにプレゼントを届けにも来てくれたよ♪

Next Saturday at FUSE Jesus Community, come join us for more awesome music, a fun game, and an encouraging message. On December 28th (Monday), there will be a ski trip. We will depart on a bus the evening of the 27th (Sunday) and return by Monday evening (28th). Cost will be approximately 7000 yen per person. For more details, we need to know who is coming, so please email or contact us if you plan to go. RSVP no later than December ２４th. Who's the best actor??

This week at FUSE Jesus Community was a blast as people tested out their acting skills in the game Charades. The actors had to have the audience guess what they were acting correctly without talking. We also enjoyed great music from the FUSE Band and a message on "Commission for the Mission" from Mark. 前回のFUSE JESUS COMMUNITYも最高だった♪　シャレーズというパントマイムゲームで、みんなの演技力を拝見・・・もちろんFUSEバンドのライブあり、マークによる”使命を受けて送り出される”というタイトルのメッセージもあり、盛り沢山でした！

This Saturday at FJC, we will not be meeting at 3 like usual. Instead, our special event "International Food Party" will be held at six thirty. Come for awesome food from America, Brazil, Israel, and Japan along with great music and a cool message. It will cost only five hundred yen for both food and a drink. More special events coming up are the Christmas party (December 19) and a ski trip (December 28). For information on them, check back here or email thefuse09@gmail.com

FUSE JESUS COMMUNITY...!!!!

This week signified a new start as there were some changes at the FUSE. Mark spoke about these changes. Perhaps the most noticeable change is the name; instead of just being referred to as the "FUSE", we are now being called "FUSE JESUS COMMUNITY"!! We want to emphasize that this is not just an event, but a community full of relationships that last all week long between each other and God. 今週のFUSEは、新たな始まりの詰まった集まりになった!Markが話してくれたように、その中でも一番大きなChangeは、この集まりの名前。今までは"The FUSE"って呼んでたけど、これからは"FUSE JESUS COMMUNITY"になりました!!何でか?っていうと、これがただのイベントなんじゃなくて、たくさんの友達、そして神さまとの絆を深めていくコミュニティであって、そのつながりは毎週土曜だけじゃなくずぅっと続いてくんだよっていうFUSEの全貌をみんなにもっとよく知ってほしかったから!!

Though many of the surface things are changing during this time, our heart remains. FUSE JESUS COMMUNITY is still focused on building relationships with people and with God, bringing hope to everyone we meet, and having a fun time together!! 名前の変化とか表面的なことが変わっても、私たちのハートは変わらない!FUSE JESUS COMMUNITYは人と神さまとのつながりにフォーカスしてて、出会う人みんなに希望をシェアして、一緒にエキサイティングな時間を過ごしたいっていうコアな部分は変わってないんだ!

There was also a lot of awesome dancing this week. From the group on stage, to Tokumasa breakdancing on the floor. From the dance-off game where Debbie taught a dance to see who could do it best, to everyone dancing during the FUSE Band music. It was awesome to see everyone's moves and the freedom in the music. 前回のFJC（FUSE JESUS COMMUNITY）では超クールなダンスユニットも登場してくれた!Tokumasaのブレイクダンスも最高!DebbieのDance-Offゲームでもみんな大盛り上がり♪ダンスの余韻はThe FUSE Bandのライブにも続き、音楽に合わせてみんなが踊る様子はもう最高だった!

Hot, hot, hot!!

Hot, hot, hot!! Summer is here!
But not only that -we're having the most hot & exciting time at the FUSE every week!! Now the FUSE has officially changed to every Saturday at 3PM, same place, Livezone Z in Machida, Tokyo!!
暑い暑い暑い！夏だね！ でも暑いのはそれだけじゃない！フューズでは毎週熱くてエキサイティングな時間を送っている！！フューズはとぅとぅ毎週土曜３PMに引越ししたよ！場所はいつもと同じ、町田にあるLivezone Z！

We had a fun time playing Pictionary game together - our mates T and H did a fantastic job drawing pictures on the white board :) Good on you those who guessed the right answers!
前回はお絵かきゲームでみんな盛り上がった！ホワイトボードに描かれた絵が何なのかをみんなで当てるゲーム。Tくん＆Hくん、超グッジョブでした！二人の絵の答えを当てたみんなもすごかったよー！

This week's life-changing SUPER message was about "Depression". Have you ever felt depressed? Well, I have. Although Japan is known as such a rich and developed country, we consume the largest number of anti-depressant medicine in the world!!
前回の人生変えちゃうスーパーメッセージは「なんで落ち込むの？？｣というテーマ。みんなは、ウツっぽくなったことってある？自分はあるよ。日本って、世界でも一番って言って良いくらいリッチで発展した国だけど、実は世界一の抗うつ剤消費国なんだって！

But, don't all need to struggle with this annoying problem. We're made to enjoy our lives!! We should not waste this gift of life!! How? Well... come and hang out with us at the FUSE, then I'm sure you'll find the answer... :)
でも、そんなやっかいなヤツと付き合って生きていくのはツライよね。だって、自分らは人生を楽しむために生まれてきたんだよ！だから、命っていうギフトを無駄にしてちゃいけない。でも、どうやって？・・・フューズに来てうちらと時間過ごせば、その答えがわかるかもしれない！

At the next FUSE event (22nd Aug.), Mark will bring us a message about "Forgiveness". That's the next step to lead us into a happy life! Don't miss it everybody!
次回のフューズ（8月22日）では、マークが「ゆるすこと」についてのスーパーメッセージを届けてくれるよ☆いろんな意味で「ゆるすこと」って、ハッピーな人生を送るための次のステップだと思う。だから、みんな絶対聞きに来て欲しい！

After the FUSE, we always go out to a cafe. We had an fun time, developing great friendships!!

Do you like Peanut Butter???

Our awesome friend Matt had his birthday on last Sunday, and we had a surprise party for him at the FUSE. He 'got' to participate in a peanut butter licking game with two other very honored girls!

前回のThe FUSEがあった先週の日曜日は、うちらの仲間の一人であるマットの誕生日！The FUSEでも彼のためのサプライズ・パーティをしました！
彼のために特別準備されたピーナッツバターゲームに、もう二人のガールズと参戦！

They were supposed to finish a bowl of peanut butter decorated with whipped cream on top, without using their hands! In fact, none of them could finish but they did a great job...!
ルールは、スープ皿の中のピーナッツバター（上にはホイップクリームのデコレーション付き）を、手を使わないで一番最初に食べ終わることのできた人が勝ち！実際に全部食べきった人はいなかったんだけど、みんなグッジョブだったよ！

After the game, we had our guitarist Kengo sharing his story of how he met with Jesus, and how his life was changed in such a fantastic way!
そしてゲームの後は、The FUSE BandのギタリストKengoによるショート・ストーリー。彼がどんなふうにジーザスに出会ったのか、彼がどんなすんごい方法で自分の人生を変えてくれたのかなど語ってくれたよ！


The next FUSE is on Sunday 9th, August from 11AM. We're going to have an exciting game that anyone will get to participate in, live concert by the FUSE Band, and a life-changing story! This is going to be the last Sunday meeting, because the FUSE is moving to every Saturday from 3PM! For those who struggle waking up early in the morning, there you go! We are so looking forward to meeting all of you at the FUSE!

The SINGERS special live!!

Last Saturday at the FUSE we had a very special guest come to do a performance for us!! The SINGERS did an awesome job and we all loved it!!
先週土曜のThe FUSEでは、超豪華なゲストが登場しました！SingersのみなさんがSpecial Performanceをしてくれ、Livezone Zは大盛り上がり♪

We all loved their
contemporary Gospel music!!
Starting off with a funky tune 'Celebrate', Whatcha's special voice percussion solo, and a dynamic tune 'Do you know Jesus?' It was such a meaningful time.
彼らのモダンゴスペルスタイルにみんな大興奮！ファンキーなナンバー’Celebrate’、Whatchaによるボイパ・ソロ、そしてダイナミックな’Do you know Jesus?’　どれをとっても最高な時間でした☆

And another exciting event was The Donuts Fishing game! New comers T & A did a great job! They both enjoyed nice donuts from Mist○r Donuts...
そしてもうひとつ大盛り上がりだったのが、ドーナッツ釣り競争！！The FUSE初参加のTくんとAくん、グッジョブでした！ミ○ドのドーナッツ、美味しかったかな？

The next FUSE is on Sunday 26th July at 11:00AM!! We'll have some cool music by the FUSE Band, dance performance and a life-changing message based on the Bible. If you have missed the last FUSE, then don't miss this coming one!!
