This week at Fuse Jesus Community was great!!! Mark shared with us how we need to be willing to take a challenge. God wants us to be wise and accept correction and help from others. The band did an amazing job this week! We also got to hear Phil's life story about how God changed him for the better.バンドも凄いよかった！フィルのライフストーリーもあって、神様が彼の事をどうより良く変えてくれたかについて聞けた。

There are fun things planned for Fuse this week.  Fuse will have Street Live at 7pm in Sagamiono Station on Tuesday and Shinyurigaoka on Friday. Great Pace Relationships

This week we had an amazing time at Fuse Jesus Community!! Mark shared how important it is not to rush our relationships. God wants us to grow in love and not to expect to fall in love the first time we meet someone. The band played some amazing music!! We played an icebreaker game and had fun at karaoke after Fuse. バンドもステキな曲をやってくれました！！アイスブレーカーのゲームもやって、フューズの後にはカラオケにも行って凄い楽しかった。

The Man who changed the world...

This week at FUSE Jesus Community was the kickoff of a new series - The Man Who Changed the World. Mark used the statement "God became an ant" which was explained by the illustration that the only way to warn ants that they're in danger is to become one yourself. In the same way, the only way God could save us was by becoming a human Himself, and so Jesus came.今週のFJCは、マークのメッセージ新シリーズが開始しました!タイトルは「世界を変えた男」。蟻をたとえにしたおもしろいイラストレーションを用いて、神が死へのハイウェイまっしぐらな人間を救うためには、神自身が人間になって私たちのところに来る必要があったんだってことをわかりやすく話してくれた。 

There are more awesome events coming up at FUSE soon. This Saturday at FJC, Joe will speak, continuing the message series, "The Man Who Changed the World." We will also have great music from the FUSE Band and a game as well. December 12th we will have an International Food Party. December 19th will be our Christmas party. Also, a ski trip is planned for the end of December. Mark your calendars now, because you don't want to miss these awesome events! We are the Community!!

This week at FUSE Jesus Community was a blast as Mark spoke on who we are in more detail. The word "fuse" has a few different meanings which our name comes from....to connect 2 things and the spark that sets off an explosion. We want FJC to be the beginning of an explosion of love and life in Japan, and we do that thru connecting with God and others. 前回のFUSE JESUS COMMUNITYは最高だった！マークのFJCの名前の由来に関するメッセージで、絆がもっと深まった！フューズっていうのは、「2つのものをつなげる」っていう意味と、「導火線（爆弾にくっついてる紐）」の意味がある。FJCは、神さまの愛が日本でおっきく爆発する前の導火線であり、神さまと人々、また仲間同士がつながるための場でもある！

Next week at FJC will be special, as we will finish at 4 pm and go to karaoke following. We will be starting right at 3 so come early so you don't miss anything. Then, be prepared for an awesome time hanging out and singing for a couple hours with the group. It will be lots of fun!次回のFJCはいつもと少し違うよ！３PMスタート、４PMに終了、その後はみんなでKaraoke-♪３PMぴったりのスタートになるので、みんな遅れないでね！そのあとのKaraokeで、みんなと盛り上がろう！超たのしい土曜の午後になるよ！

Halloween Party

This weekend, many people were out wearing costumes as Halloween was celebrated. This week at FUSE Jesus Community was no different; Darth Vader, a ninja, Elmo, a pig, a laundry basket, and many more arrived to have fun with the music, playing limbo, and hearing a great message.今週のFUSEでは、ハロウィンパーティ！みんな仮装して登場。ダースベーダー、忍者、エルモ、ブタちゃん、洗濯バスケット･･･バンドのライブとリンボーゲームでみんな盛り上がり、Carenの素晴らしいメッセージに心打たれました！
The message this week was given by Caren. She spoke on God's love and what true love is really like. She spoke about how God's love is available for anyone, no matter what.前回のメッセージは神の愛について。真実の愛って、口で言うのは簡単だけど、本当は一体どんなものなんだろう。神の真実の愛はみんなのためにあって、無条件に受け取れるものなんだよって、Carenが語ってくれました！

FUSE JESUS COMMUNITY...!!!!

This week signified a new start as there were some changes at the FUSE. Mark spoke about these changes. Perhaps the most noticeable change is the name; instead of just being referred to as the "FUSE", we are now being called "FUSE JESUS COMMUNITY"!! We want to emphasize that this is not just an event, but a community full of relationships that last all week long between each other and God. 今週のFUSEは、新たな始まりの詰まった集まりになった!Markが話してくれたように、その中でも一番大きなChangeは、この集まりの名前。今までは"The FUSE"って呼んでたけど、これからは"FUSE JESUS COMMUNITY"になりました!!何でか?っていうと、これがただのイベントなんじゃなくて、たくさんの友達、そして神さまとの絆を深めていくコミュニティであって、そのつながりは毎週土曜だけじゃなくずぅっと続いてくんだよっていうFUSEの全貌をみんなにもっとよく知ってほしかったから!!

Though many of the surface things are changing during this time, our heart remains. FUSE JESUS COMMUNITY is still focused on building relationships with people and with God, bringing hope to everyone we meet, and having a fun time together!! 名前の変化とか表面的なことが変わっても、私たちのハートは変わらない!FUSE JESUS COMMUNITYは人と神さまとのつながりにフォーカスしてて、出会う人みんなに希望をシェアして、一緒にエキサイティングな時間を過ごしたいっていうコアな部分は変わってないんだ!

There was also a lot of awesome dancing this week. From the group on stage, to Tokumasa breakdancing on the floor. From the dance-off game where Debbie taught a dance to see who could do it best, to everyone dancing during the FUSE Band music. It was awesome to see everyone's moves and the freedom in the music. 前回のFJC（FUSE JESUS COMMUNITY）では超クールなダンスユニットも登場してくれた!Tokumasaのブレイクダンスも最高!DebbieのDance-Offゲームでもみんな大盛り上がり♪ダンスの余韻はThe FUSE Bandのライブにも続き、音楽に合わせてみんなが踊る様子はもう最高だった!

Gospel is Good News!!!

Last week at the FUSE, we heard Smiley Yasu's story of what God had done to change his life. Following that, Mark shared on what the word "Gospel" really means. Gospel is another word for "good news." This specifically speaks of the good news of how Jesus traded his righteousness for all the bad we've done, so that we can come before God.前回のFUSEでは、我らがSimely Yasuによるライフストーリーのシェアリングがありました♪神さまがどんな風に彼の人生を変えてくれたかを話してくれたよ！続いてMarkのメッセージ、「ゴスペルってなんだ？？」。ゴスペルの語源は”Good News”だって知ってた?イエスが私たちの汚い部分を全部無償で負って、彼の聖さを私たちにくれる。それがGood　Newsなんだよ！

Banana Lovers!

Do you think you can eat a banana while blindfolded?...what about feeding someone else a banana while blindfolded? Well this week at the FUSE we tested this out, seeing which team could do it the quickest. Great job to all who participated in the game!目隠しをされた状態でバナナを食べられるか･･･？もしも目隠しをされただれかがバナナを自分に食べさせるとしたら？前回のFUSEでは、どのチームがそんな状況でバナナを一番早く食べ終われるかっていうクレイジーなゲームをしました（笑）。参加者のみんな、おつかれさまでした・・・！

Next week we will hear more awesome music from the FUSE Band, have an awesome game you can participate in, and hang out with each other afterwards. Also, there will be a message on your true identity; who can tell you who you truly are? how do you know who you are? The FUSE Day Out!!!

Hooray! It's a holiday and we now get time to just relax and hang out with friends. The FUSE celebrated this with the FUSE Day Out. We enjoyed obentos and games in the park and finished the day off with karaoke. It was so much fun! Thank you everyone for turning up!
シルバーウィーク中、FUSEではイベントを企画、たくさんの友達とゆっくり時間を過ごした！中でもFUSE Day Outは大盛り上がり♪公園でランチやゲームを楽しんで、締めくくりはカラオケパーティ♪超楽しかった！来てくれたみんな、ありがとう！これなかった人は、次回は是非参加してね！

This past FUSE, we had awesome music from the FUSE band and a great message from Mark. The message was on "Overcoming Fear." When we are afraid of something, we let that fear control us, but in overcoming our fears there is freedom. At the next FUSE, be looking forward to more awesome music, games, hangout with friends, and a message on "failure-the path to success".

FUSE Day Out is coming closer!

There is so much fun and exciting things happening at the FUSE these days! Anyone can come to the FUSE, and it's ABSOLUTELY FREE!!! Just meet us outside the North Exit of the Odakyu Line Machida train station at 2:45 on Saturday. It is every saturday from 3-5 and we would love to see you there!
FUSEでは毎週エキサイティングなことが盛りだくさん！誰でも入場無料で入れるよ！Livezone Zにて毎週土曜午後3時スタート！小田急町田駅北口で午後２：４５にFUSEのスタッフが待ち合わせしているから、一人で行くのが心細いときは一緒に待ち合わせしていこう！

At the FUSE's last event, 33 people turned up as Nozomi told her story of putting her trust in God thru the hard times. Also, Mark had an awesome message on "Overcoming Rejection" and there was a great game involving eating spicy rice crackers.
前回のFUSEでは、33人が集まったよ！Nozomiがどんなふうに辛い毎日の中で神さまの本当の愛に出会ったか、ストーリーをみんなに話してくれた。超感動的だった！マークはSuper Messageの中で、拒絶された体験から立ち直るためのいくつかのアドバイスをみんなにくれたよ！ゲームは、「唐辛子せんべい早食い競争」！！みんな燃えてたよ

The FUSE Day Out is coming up fast and it's gonna be so much fun! It is next Monday (9/21); we will be going to the park in the afternoon and then karaoke in the evening. Anyone can come, so we hope to see YOU there! We will meet for going to the park at 1pm at the Sagami-Ono staton by the main ticket gate.

We'll be eating lunch, playing games, and even have some music, so bring a sack lunch and an instrument too if you'd like. Then we will meet at 6pm at the SagamiOno station by the main ticket gate to go to karaoke. If you can come to the park, but not karaoke, that's ok. Or if you can come to karaoke, but not the park, that's fine too. If it is raining Monday afternoon, we will not meet at 1 for going to the park, but still plan on meeting for karaoke at 6pm. Please come!

Taking the Grrr out of Anger.

The FUSE gets more exciting every week! Last week, we saw a great skit and heard a great message on "Taking the Grrr out of Anger." This week we're also having another message in the series on emotions. Mark will be speaking on the "Overcoming Rejection" and who you can find your identity from. Be sure not to miss the fun music and game this week either!
The FUSEは毎週進化している！先週は”ぅんぐぐぐぅぅーを怒りから取り除く”っていうタイトルのメッセージと、それに関連したドラマを披露したよ。今週もマークのメッセージは”感情を捕らえる方法シリーズ”第6弾、”拒絶された･･･どうやって立ち直れば良い？”。自分の本当のアイデンティティはどこにあるんだろう？みんな聞き逃さないためにFUSEに来てね！

もうひとつのスペシャルアナウンスメント！9月21日（月・祝）、FUSE Day Outを実行！参加者大募集中！午後1時に小田急相模大野駅で待ち合わせ、その後相模原公園（めちゃ広くて快適なPark）へGO!その後、午後6時にまた相模大野駅で待ち合わせして、夜はカラオケ大会♪両方来れない人は、公園だけーとか、カラオケだけーでも全然OK！とにかくみんなで楽しい時間を過ごそうよ！詳細は近日またFUSEでアナウンス／BlogにUpするよ！

Do you like to sing? What?! You say you can't sing?! No worries!!! We are going to Karaoke to have FUN!
みんな歌うの好き？えぇ？！歌えないって？！そんなの気にしなぁ～い！楽しい時間を過ごしに、一緒にカラオケに行こうよ！


So to singers and non-singers, come and join us in Machida (Odakyu Machida Station North Exit) at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 26th.
歌が得意な人も、そうでない人も、みんな8月26日水曜の午後5時に、小田急町田駅北口に集まれ！

The FUSE is OPEN every Saturday for ANYONE! Do you like Peanut Butter???

Our awesome friend Matt had his birthday on last Sunday, and we had a surprise party for him at the FUSE. He 'got' to participate in a peanut butter licking game with two other very honored girls!

前回のThe FUSEがあった先週の日曜日は、うちらの仲間の一人であるマットの誕生日！The FUSEでも彼のためのサプライズ・パーティをしました！
彼のために特別準備されたピーナッツバターゲームに、もう二人のガールズと参戦！

They were supposed to finish a bowl of peanut butter decorated with whipped cream on top, without using their hands! In fact, none of them could finish but they did a great job...!
ルールは、スープ皿の中のピーナッツバター（上にはホイップクリームのデコレーション付き）を、手を使わないで一番最初に食べ終わることのできた人が勝ち！実際に全部食べきった人はいなかったんだけど、みんなグッジョブだったよ！

After the game, we had our guitarist Kengo sharing his story of how he met with Jesus, and how his life was changed in such a fantastic way!
そしてゲームの後は、The FUSE BandのギタリストKengoによるショート・ストーリー。彼がどんなふうにジーザスに出会ったのか、彼がどんなすんごい方法で自分の人生を変えてくれたのかなど語ってくれたよ！


The next FUSE is on Sunday 9th, August from 11AM. We're going to have an exciting game that anyone will get to participate in, live concert by the FUSE Band, and a life-changing story! This is going to be the last Sunday meeting, because the FUSE is moving to every Saturday from 3PM! For those who struggle waking up early in the morning, there you go! We are so looking forward to meeting all of you at the FUSE!

The SINGERS special live!!

Last Saturday at the FUSE we had a very special guest come to do a performance for us!! The SINGERS did an awesome job and we all loved it!!
先週土曜のThe FUSEでは、超豪華なゲストが登場しました！SingersのみなさんがSpecial Performanceをしてくれ、Livezone Zは大盛り上がり♪

We all loved their
contemporary Gospel music!!
Starting off with a funky tune 'Celebrate', Whatcha's special voice percussion solo, and a dynamic tune 'Do you know Jesus?' It was such a meaningful time.
彼らのモダンゴスペルスタイルにみんな大興奮！ファンキーなナンバー’Celebrate’、Whatchaによるボイパ・ソロ、そしてダイナミックな’Do you know Jesus?’　どれをとっても最高な時間でした☆

And another exciting event was The Donuts Fishing game! New comers T & A did a great job! They both enjoyed nice donuts from Mist○r Donuts...
そしてもうひとつ大盛り上がりだったのが、ドーナッツ釣り競争！！The FUSE初参加のTくんとAくん、グッジョブでした！ミ○ドのドーナッツ、美味しかったかな？

The next FUSE is on Sunday 26th July at 11:00AM!! We'll have some cool music by the FUSE Band, dance performance and a life-changing message based on the Bible. If you have missed the last FUSE, then don't miss this coming one!!
