What's YOUR Reason to Celebrate?

Opportunity of a Lifetime!

Last Saturday was all about Opportunities at Fuse Jesus Community!!  Last weekend, in the FUSE band, C had the opportunity to sing for the first time in the band!  We've heard her on the streets doing street band, but this was her first time with the band!  She sounded great, and added a nice touch to the exciting FUSE band!  前回のフューズ･ジーザス･コミュニティでは、ストリートバンドでいつも活躍してくれているＣちゃんの初・フューズシンガーデビューだった！最高にステキな歌声が、私たちの最高な神さまに向けて天に響き渡った！フューズ･バンド最高♪　Also, during our game time, Mike introduced us to a new version of Rock, Paper, Scissors.  We all had the chance to play against one another and advance to have the opportunity to win against the leaders of the game!  It was very amusing!  ゲームタイムでは、マイクが’じゃんけんぽん’の新スタイルを提案・・・最後まで勝ち抜いた人がステージ上のボスと対決！新感覚じゃんけんぽんをみんなで楽しんだよ！

Anpanman!!

Last Saturday at Fuse Jesus Community, Mike lead everyone there in a very fun game using hand motions to a beat.  Everyone had smiles or laughter as we tried to keep up with the beat and use the right motions.  前回のフューズ・ジーザス･コミュニティ では、Ｍｉｋｅが手の動きとリズムとを使ったＣｏｏｌなゲームコーナーをリードしてくれたよ！みんな列に並んで、ラインダンスのようにビートにあわせて1,2,3,4・・・笑いの溢れる時間だった！Do you like Anpanman?  Mark gave a very interesting message using Anpanman as an example. He talked about Anpanman and learned some ideas that we think he may have gotten from Jesus! Adventures in Joy!

FUSE Jesus Community was quite an adventure this past weekend!  Despite some technical problems we encountered on Saturday, we still had a good time and it was an opportunity to see many people take on different roles in helping out at FUSE!  What a great group of people!  Mike shared his life story with us and told about how his life really changed when he realised that Jesus wanted a relationship with him.前回のFUSE Jesus Communityはアドベンチャーな週末だった！テクニカル面でのトラブルがいくつかあったにも関わらず、その中でみんながひとつになってＦＵＳＥをうごかしている様子が最高だった！なんてチームワーク！そしてマイクが自分のライフストーリーを語ってくれたよ。イエスが自分とパーソナルなレベルでつながりたいと願っていることに気づいた時、彼の人生がどれだけ変えられたかについてシェアしてくれた。

Fuse Fuse Fuse!!!

We had a great first weekend of July at FUSE Jesus Community!  In this first week after our One Year Anniversary, there was a lot going on!  First, we had our friends visiting from Tempe, Arizona!  They were a lot of fun and introduced a game to us that had a lot of people laughing!  Also, our friends L and C were back and joined the FUSE band, and it was pretty incredible!  The group from Arizona thought the FUSE band was really special and had exceptional music.  前回のFuse Jesus Communityも超盛り上がった！一周年バースデーパーティ後の最初のFJCということもあり、まだお祭りムードの余韻が残っていた☆まず、アメリカ・アリゾナ州からテンピ･ビンヤード・チームが今週も加わってくれた！チームメイトの一人がゲームをリードしてくれて、みんな大爆笑だったね！二つ目に、LちゃんとCちゃんが帰国、Fuseバンドに帰ってきてくれた！今週もFuseバンドは最高の音楽を神さまに奏でてくれた！ 

Also, Mark shared with us on Releasing our Potential!  It was an encouraging message about how to become all that we were created to be, because everyone is uniquely created with a purpose!  Mark also helped us to point out some attitudes that can keep us from succeeding in life, and some attitudes we should acquire! Check out the message on vimeo, because it's worth your time! そして、マークのメッセージは「自分の可能性を解き放つ」。私たちはみんなひとりひとりが超特別な目的を持って、超特別な方法で神さまに造られた。だから、自分がなるべき最大限の自分になりたいよね！そのためのいくつかの実践的な方法をマークが話してくれたよ。すごく励まされた！人生で成功するために必要なのは「自分ならできる」って、まず信じてみることなんだよね。VimeoにこのメッセージもUpされてるので、みんな見る価値ありだよ！

Also, last Tuesday we had fun with our Arizona friends at an International Party/Goodbye Party for Sally!  Even though it was sad to say goodbye to our talented friend who returned to America, we had a good night.  Many people participated in a game of Around the World Pingpong, which help everyone's attention.  There was a lot of good food and Sally sang us a song with her powerful voice!  What a great evening!先週火曜は、テンピ･ビンヤード･チームのウェルカム＆サリーのグッバイパーティが登戸にて開かれました！さよならを言うのは悲しかったけど、みんな最高な時間を一緒に過ごせました！たくさんの人が参加して、ピンポン台の周りをぐるぐる回るワールド・ピンポン・ゲームも超楽しかった！最後にサリーが彼女の超美しい声を披露してくれた。

This past Saturday at FUSE Jesus Community, Debbie spoke on persevering. She talked about how God is always cheering you on, and FUSE is here to cheer you on as well. 'You don't need to try all by yourself. We're here to go forth with you.' Debbie's message brought such warmth and courage to everyone's hearts... 前回のFJCでは、Debbieちゃんが「耐え抜くこと」についてメッセージしてくれた。神さまはいつでも私たちとともに歩んで、応援してくれてる。そして、FJCもみんなを応援するためにここにいるんだよ！！ひとりで、がんばらないで、いっしょにがんばろう。そんなDebbieのメッセージが、みんなの心に熱い励ましをくれた。

Next Saturday at FUSE Jesus Community is special theme "sakura easter." Spring is here and we are excited to celebrate together with a great message from Mark about the holiday Easter. Loved by God and live our life

Last Saturday at FUSE Jesus Community, people paired up to see who could pop a balloon in between them first. Also, we had a special guest speaker, Kirk Yamaguchi, visiting from America. He spoke on how being a Christian is simply following Jesus, not joining a religion, and of God's great love for each of us. 前回のFJCでは、風船わりゲームをしました☆2人ペアになって、手足を使わずに二人で協力して風船をPop!ゲストスピーカーにアメリカ・コロラド州より山口カーク氏を迎え、神さまの愛を体験して歩むことがクリスチャンなんだっていうSimpleかつPowerfulなメッセージをしてくれた！

We like to Party♪

This past weekend at FUSE Jesus Community has been full of parties! Saturday at FJC, after amazing music from FUSE band and an encouraging message from Mark called "Born to be Loved", there was a surprise 30th birthday party for Mark, complete with games, videos, food, and friends. Sunday, our guitarist Yoshi was baptized in Noborito which was a huge celebration for everyone! And monday FUSE had a goodbye party for Joe G, our guitarist, who returns to America this thursday. Everyday Valentines

Last Saturday at FUSE Jesus Community, Valentines Day was celebrated by watching a funny valentines video starring Darth Vader and Pink Bunny (the video can be watched on FJC's youtube site - www.youtube.com/newdayjapan ), a message from Mark titled Everyday Valentines, and the FUSE girls giving chocolate to all the guys attending. Ohana -we are Family!!!

Last Saturday at FUSE Jesus Community was our special event Hawaiian Night. Everyone enjoyed Hawaiian snacks, a hula dance, Hawaiian music, a surfing and limbo game, and a fun time of warming up from the cold together. 前回のFuse Jesus Communityは”真冬のハワイアンナイト”！！フラダンスやハワイアン・ミュージック、リンボー、サーファーなりきりゲームなどみんな超盛り上がった！寒い冬の夜だなんでことを忘れてしまうくらい、みんなほんわかあったかい気持ちでした☆

This Saturday at FJC, Mark will give a message on what happened to Jesus after He died. There will be more awesome music from the FUSE band as always and a game to test your drawing skills - with a twist. It will be a really fun time, so don't miss it!今週のFJCは、イエスが十字架で死んだ後一体何が起こったのか？！っていうメッセージをMarkがお届けします。ゲームは絵の才能を競い合う参加型ゲーム。そしてFuse Bandも一味違う・・・キーボードのHannahがリード・ボーカルを務めてくれます！！お見逃しなく☆

New Generation Japanese Rising Up...

This Saturday at FUSE Jesus Community was the six month mark from starting the meetings. It was so exciting to celebrate! We were also excited to have Yoshi play guitar, Tatsu translate for announcements, and Maki run the Powerpoint for the first time. We are so happy to see more Japanese joining our FUSE team more and more.前回のFuse Jesus Communityは、今年6月の開始から6ヶ月目に突入の記念すべき日だった！しかも、YoshiがFUSE Bandのギタリストとして、Tatsuが通訳者として、MakiがPA担当としてデビューを飾った最高の日でもあった！もっとたくさんの日本の若者たちがFJCの活動に関わっていっていることに感謝でいっぱいな一日でした♪

This Saturday FJC will NOT be meeting on Saturday at 3 because of New Years vacation. There will be no FJC meeting this week, and meetings will resume January 9th again as usual. 今週の土曜（1月2日）のFJCは新年のためお休みです。新年第一回目のFJCは1月9日（土曜）午後3時から、いつもの町田Livezone Zにて！！

Gospel is Good News!!!

Last week at the FUSE, we heard Smiley Yasu's story of what God had done to change his life. Following that, Mark shared on what the word "Gospel" really means. Gospel is another word for "good news." This specifically speaks of the good news of how Jesus traded his righteousness for all the bad we've done, so that we can come before God.前回のFUSEでは、我らがSimely Yasuによるライフストーリーのシェアリングがありました♪神さまがどんな風に彼の人生を変えてくれたかを話してくれたよ！続いてMarkのメッセージ、「ゴスペルってなんだ？？」。ゴスペルの語源は”Good News”だって知ってた?イエスが私たちの汚い部分を全部無償で負って、彼の聖さを私たちにくれる。それがGood　Newsなんだよ！

Living as "the new me"...

Who would've thought it'd be so difficult to throw balls around? At the FUSE this past week, balls were flying everywhere as people got to test their juggling skills. First one ball, then two balls, then three balls...to see who could hold out the longest.　ただボールを投げるだけ・・・なのになんでこんなに難しい?!前回のFUSEではジャグリングゲームで大盛り上がり。ボールがライブハウス内を飛び回る!!1つのボールから始まって、最終的には一気に3つ・・・Kくんが最後まで一番長くJ-Gと対戦したよ!おめでとー♪

After collecting all the balls and hearing more music from the FUSE Band, there was an awesome message called "Living as the New Me." When we begin to live in Christ, as was shared in the previous message, we no longer have to let our emotions control us. It is possible to say no and base our choices on facts and faith, not feelings.　ボールのお片づけをみんなで済ませた後は、FUSEバンドのライブと、”「新しい自分」として生きる”っていうメッセージ。イエスと共に生きる人生をスタートさせたら、私たちはもうこれ以上自分の感情の奴隷になって生きる必要なんてない。暴走する感情にNOって言って、移り行く感情に左右されない、「神さまにとって自分は宝物なんだ」っていう事実を基礎に人生を歩んでいけるんだよ！

Now, the phrases "Gospel music" and "Gospel choir" may be familiar to you. But what does the word "Gospel" really mean? Where does it come from, and what does it have to do with our lives? The message for the next FUSE will be "What is Gospel?" where we will get a glimpse behind the word to it's actual meaning. Come this Saturday to learn more.　ゴルペル音楽とか、ゴスペルクワイヤーとかって、みんなは聞いたことある?この”ゴスペル”って一体どんな意味なんだろう?どんな語源で、私たちの人生にどんな意味をもたらすんだろう?次回のFUSEでは、”ゴスペルって何だ?”っていうメッセージをするよ！

the FUSE Live - Don't Worry, Be Happy

Extra, Extra, Read all about it! This week at the FUSE, 4 people tested their skills at sliding through a hole in a newspaper without letting it rip. It didn't take too long for 2 of the newspapers to rip, but the other two stayed intact until the end. Congratulations on a job well done, guys!
みんな読んでって！前回のFUSEでは、4人のトモダチが新聞紙を破かないでくぐり抜けるゲームに挑戦！新聞紙破けちゃった人も、破けなかった人もいたけど、みんなグッジョブだったよ！

This week's message was called "Don't worry, Be Happy!" It's easy to let worries control our lives, but learning to let go of our worries can help us enjoy life.
前回のメッセージは”落ち込まないで、幸せになろうよ！”っていうテーマ。人生の不安要素に気分をコントロールされそうになることもあるよね。でも、その不安要素を取り除く努力を始めることが、楽しい人生を送るための第一歩なんだよー！

The next FUSE meeting is this Saturday (9/5) and we are excited about having an awesome time together again! Mark will be speaking on "Taking the Grrrr Out of Anger" and word is out that there's gonna be an awesome skit put on by the FUSE team for it. Be sure you don't miss it!
