Unshakable Confidence!!

Good evening everyone! Today FUSE was super fun!! The band did such a good job of leading us in worship—we felt so united as a Christian family! It was such a privilege to be able to worship God with each other!!! こんばんは、みんな！今日のフューズはスーパー楽しかった！バンドも、うまく私達をワーシップにリードしてくれて、クリスチャンファミリーとして一体になった感じがしたよ！お互いにみんなでジーザスをワーシップできることは素晴らしい特権だね！！！

Mark really encouraged us with his message today! It was all about how God commands us to be strong and courageous—and God never commands us to do something we can’t do! Even though there are lots of things in life that bring us down and discourage us, we are the winners! God has already won the battle for us! How awesome is that?! He encouraged us to spend time in the Word of God, since that’s where our confidence can be found. Today we also learned that there’s going to be a Baptism Party on the 23^rd of April! How much fun!! We need to meet at the Odakyu Kugenuma-Kaigan Station Ticket Gate at 2pm. We’re going to have a lot of fun together! There’s also going to be a Sakura Party the next day, the 24^th of April. So much fun!! Wild At Heart!

Hey guys! This week at FUSE was so much fun!! We were a little uncertain of how it would turn out, since Machida had been scheduled for a black-out. But, praise God, we still had power!! Isn’t it awesome how God provides for His children?ヘイ、みんな！今週のフューズもすごい楽しかったね！！町田が計画停電の予定だったから、どうなるかと思ったけど。神様最高、停電にならなかったね！！神様が自分の子供に与えて下さる方法はステキだったね。

This Sunday we got to hear Anna’s Lifestory! She told us of how she grew up learning about the Bible, but how all of that knowledge didn’t make her happy. She said that she knew a lot about God but didn’t know God. She said that the only way to find God is to let Him into your heart. Mark’s message this week was really special!! Since last Monday was White Day, when the guys give chocolates to the girls, he focused his message on the men. He pointed out that God created men to be aggressive and wild. He encouraged the men to live out their dreams with passion and energy. It was a very fresh message! So awesome!! Today we also learned that there is going to be a baptism party on the 23^rd of April! How exciting!!! If you are following Jesus Christ and have accepted Him as your Lord and Savior, please pray about getting baptized. It is an important part of being a Christian! 今日もう１つ大切なお知らせ、４月２３日の洗礼式パーティーがあった！すっごいエキサイティング！！！クリスチャンにとって重要なことでもある。もし、イエスキリストを自分の神様、救い主として受け入れてる人は、是非祈って先礼を受けよう！

Something else happened this week that was really exciting: street band started up again last Friday! Yay!! Anna and Maki debuted as the singers—and they did great!! We also got to have some really good conversations with people. Praise God for giving us this opportunity to reach people through music!! 今週はもう１つエキサイティングなことがあった。先週の金曜日からまたストリートバンドを再開しました！イェーイ！！アナちゃんとマキちゃんがシンガーズとしてデビューしました！二人とも最高だったよ！音楽を通して何人かの人と話をできる機会も与えられたし、神様ありがとう！！

An Unshakable God!!

Hello everybody! How is everyone doing? Because of the earthquake that recently hit Japan, FUSE was a little bit different than normal, though still awesome!! Yuiko stayed at home to take care of Hana, so Kengo and Wade stepped up to lead worship. They did an awesome job!
ハロー、みんな！みんな調子どう？先週の日本で起こった大地震の為、今回のフューズはいつもと少しちがったけど、とても素晴らしかった！！ゆいこちゃんがハナちゃんのために家にいたので、ケンゴとウエイドが進んでワーシップをリードしてくれた。２人ともすごくよかったよ！

After worship, everyone divided into small groups. We spent time encouraging each other, especially those who have friends and family up north. We also spent time praying for everyone who has been impacted by this earthquake, and asking God to give us opportunities to help.
ワーシップの後はみんなで小グループに分かれてそれぞれ励ましあったり、被災者の方々やそのご家族のために祈って、自分達もなにか助けられる機会が与えられるように神様にお祈りした。

Mark also talked about how we can depend on God because He is unshakable! Even when the world around us is shaken and everything is confused, God will always be there to take care of us!! Lizzie and Cynthea's "Going Away For Now Karaoke Party" was super fun! Lots of people came by to have fun with us, and to spend their last time with the Kelley girls. We love you Lizzie and Cynthea, and will be praying for you!!

Your Attitude is Everything!

Hey everyone! FUSE Jesus Community yesterday was pretty awesome! Did you go? We had lots of friends show up, and many new friends that we could me. We also had a new friend on the FUSE band, adding an extra touch with his guitar-- our friend Wade, from Colorado, USA! やぁ、みんな！フューズジーザスコミュニティーの昨日も超最高だったよ！君は来てくれたかな？今まで知り合った友達も沢山きてくれて、新しい友達にもあえたね。フューズバンドにギターとして新しい友達のウェイドもアメリカのコロラド州から参加してくれたんだ！

Wade also shared with us his life story about how his life changed when he decided he was going to follow Jesus. He was very unhappy before. But when he realized that God loved him so much, he also realized that God wanted him to be happy and follow his dreams. Now he has a movie making business. Look for newdayjapan's channel! ウェイドは彼のライフストーリー（ジーザスに従って生きていく決心をした時に人生がどうかわったか）についても分かち合ってくれた。以前、彼は全然幸せじゃなかったけど、神様が彼のことを超愛してることを知った時、神様が愛してくれてるから、彼にいつも幸せでいてほしい、夢を追いかけてほしいと思ってる事を知って、今では自分の映画製作会社を立ち上げて幸せそうだったね。是非今週は彼の残りのライフストーリをYoutubeでチェックしてみて！ニューデイジャパンチャンネルを期待しててね！

Also, Mark shared with us this week on how "Attitude is Everything!" What he means is that character is a very important part of life-- far more important that abilities. Able, able, You are Able!... with Jesus!

This Sunday was a wonderful day at FUSE Jesus Community! So much going on all the time! First, the FJC band led us in some great songs that got us pumped up and ready to go! Afterward, we found out that in two weeks (3.13), we'll be going to karaoke after FUSE to celebrate Lizzie and Cynthea's last Sunday with us (for now)! In fact, today was their last day playing in the FJC band, and they did a great job! Also, in another announcement, the girls will be doing a craft day at Janine's house on Saturday (3.5). Today, Mark's message was about Jesus' abilities. Jesus was a really cool person and did many things that you only hear about on tv or in movies or things like that. But, because of knowing Jesus, He gives us gifts- or abilities- so that we can participate in life like He did! Everybody has different personalities and talents because we were created uniquely. But also, we have different gifts that God wants us to develop. What are yours? How do you get these gifts? Are you using yours? Character, Character!!

Sunday was another special day at FUSE Jesus Community! This time at FJC, we had more awesome music from the FUSE band. Manami was back on bass again, and we had a debut from Airi, who did an AMAZING job on keyboard and vocals!! We enjoyed the energizing music, especially the new song, Nothing is Impossible (by Planetshakers)! この日曜日のフューズジーザスコミュニティー（以下FJC）ではまた特別な日を迎えました！今回のFJCでは更に最高のフューズバンドの音楽があり、マナミちゃんがベースでまた参加してくれて、アイリちゃんも素敵なキーボードとボーカルでデビューを飾ってくれました！新曲のナッシング インポッシブル（プラネットシェーカース）も元気をくれる歌で本当に楽しかったね.

 

Phebe also shared with us her life story. She shared with us about how God meets her unspoken needs. So cool! If you didn't see it, it will soon be up on FJC's page on Facebook and on youtube! This week's message was shared with us by Mark. Mark told us the character of Jesus. Jesus helps us to have an awesome character like his when we get to know him. These character qualities, like love and joy and peace, are things that we all want more of. By knowing Jesus, these qualities grow in us during all times, and are developed through community!! Looooooooove!!! Happy Valentines Day from FJC!!

Happy Valentines Day!! This week we celebrated a special Valentines Day at FUSE Jesus Community!.. When coming in, everyone got a special bag of chocolates and we even got to play a very funny Valentines Day game with our new friend Anna. Everyone was laughing so much!!ハッピーバレンタインデー!!今週のフューズはみんなで特別なバレンタインデーを祝ったね。入口でみんなチョコをもらったし、アメリカから来た新しい友達のアナと超おもしろいバレンタインゲームをやって、楽しかったね!!

This Sunday, we also enjoyed some incredible music with Lizzie leading the FUSE JC band for the last time. She will play a couple more times, but soon will be moving back the US with her family. We will miss her!!そしてこの日曜、リジー最後のフューズバンドワーシップリーダーの日になっちゃたけど、音楽も最高で楽しかったね。あと数回まだ彼女の演奏は見れるけど、もうすぐ彼女はアメリカに家族と帰っちゃうんだ。淋しいよー!!

Later, Janine shared with us a message about not just celebrating one day of love, but a whole life of love! We looked at what love is and how we understand it from the media and from God.
