Angggrrrrrrryyyyyyy.....

It was quite an international day at FUSE Jesus Community this week! We had new friends joining us from Canada and Hawaii. Also, our friend Jeremy, who visited last October, is back with us for a year this time! 先週、フューズジーザスコミュニテーはとてもインターナショナルな日だった！新しい友達がカナダとハワイからきてくれた。あと去年10月に滞在してくれたジェレミーもまた戻ってきてくれた！

Sunday was Aaron's last time at FJC... this year! We hope to see him back soon. But he did a great job leading the band on a very interesting day for us! There was a missing drum adaptor, but we managed to still have great music-- Joe did a great job improv-ing! 日曜日はアロンの今年最後のFJC・・・の時でもあった！早く戻ってきてくれないかな。こんな面白い日にアロンはまたバンドリードでいい仕事をしてくれた！ドラムのアダプターが見つからないハプニングもあったけど、ジョーも即興でいい仕事をしてくれた！

Mark continued the series on Getting Hold of Your Emotions. This week's topic was on Anger-- taking the "grrrr" out of anger. Everyone experiences anger and there are different types of anger-- even good ones! Did you know that? Mark shares some key points on controlling that anger and making choices that will lead us to joy. It was an interesting message! This weekend, we are having our big band rehearsal day! If you're interesting in learning more about instruments-- like the drums or guitar, please meet us in Noborito at 5pm on Saturday, June 18! All FUSE band members will be there for an instrument workshop and jam session. BIG NEWS! On Sunday, July 3, we are going to be celebrating FJC's 2nd Anniversary! It's going to be awesome! Our friend, singer-songwriter Daisuke Yokoyama will perform for us (myspace.com/ routeofsoul). Also, our friends from last year, the Break Free (breakn4christ.com) break dance team from California will be joining us and performing for us! Then there will be an EMPOWERING message! So, invite your friends and be sure not to miss it because it's bound to be an awesome day! Freedom from Fear

More "new"s at FUSE Jesus Community this week!! Sunday's FJC time was really exciting. Those who were there could really feel incredible during the music time. Our friend Aaron led the band this week! Once again, we are excited to see new people doing things at FUSE! What do you want to get involved in?今週もさらに新しいことがフューズジーザスコミュ二ティーにはありました！！今週の日曜日もエキサイティングだった。来てくれたみんなは音楽の時に信じられないようなこと感じたよね。今週はアロンがバンドのリードをしてくれた！フューズで新しい人が何かを始めるのを見るのはとてもワクワクする！君ならなに関わってくれる？

This week, we started a new series called "Getting Hold of Your Emotions". Janine shared with us about Freedom from Fear. Fear can be overwhelming, but it's interesting how the Bible talks about fear and the answer for it. Janine also shared about fear in relationships (rejection, disappointment, intimacy...). There is also a way to be free from that! We only get one shot at life, let's not live with regrets in life because of fear! This was the whole topic of today. Be a Baton-Passer!

As usual, we had new happenings at FUSE Jesus Community this week! We like change. Allan, who was with us last year, joined us this week with his dad. Ty's parents also came, as well as some of Tim-san's family. So, we had lots of American guests this week!今週もフューズジーザスコミュニテー(以下FJC)ではいつもの様に新しい事がおこった。私達はチェンジが大好き。去年私達と一緒にバンドをしてくれた、アランが今週はお父さんと来てくれた。タイのご両親も、ティムの家族も来てくれた。今週は沢山のアメリカからのゲストと会った！

Midori did a great job as leader on the FJC band for the first time. The band sounded awesome as we sang together some amazing songs. After that, Joe translated again for Mark. This week's message was about passing the baton. Mark said that although our goal is to be the best follower of Jesus that we can, our goal is to pass on the vision to others and help them out too! He gave some amazing statistics about that! He told us a story that many of us can probably relate to and then shared 3 points to being a great baton passer! Training for Greatness

This week was great as usual at FUSE Jesus Community. We had new friends, great music and an encouraging message! Aaron, who visited us last year from Texas is back now with us visiting for a month. He joined the band and so did Midori, who debuted on vocals.今週のフューズジーザスコミュ二ティーは最高だった。新しい友達にも会えて、いい歌と励まされるメッセージも聴けた！去年テキサスからきてくれたアーロンもまた今年も来てくれて1ヶ月いてくれる。彼がまたバンドに加わり、みどりちゃんがボーカルデビューを飾ってくれた。

Our encouraging message this week was called "Training for Greatness". Mark talked about how training for what lasts is more important. Our bodies will grow old and won't last, but what's inside-- our spirit and heart-- that will! The Bible even talks about this! So, let's make our life count and grow in our spirit so that we can say, "I love my life! I love what I do!"今週の超励まされたメッセージのタイトルは「最高へのトレーニング」というタイトルでした。どのように自分の中の永遠につづいていくもをトレーニングするかが重要だっていってた。私達の体は年をとってやがて朽ち果てていく、でも心や魂はちがう。聖書もその事についてかいてある！だから、自分の人生を愛して、自分のやっていることを愛せるように、人生を通して永遠に続くスピリットを成長させていこう！

Winners Vs. Whiners

FUSE Jesus Community just seems to be full of opportunities! Last Sunday was another day of people trying things for the first time! It's amazing what you can accomplish when you try something new. And at FJC, we like to encourage people while they are doing it!!フューズジーザスコミュニティー（以下FJC）はチャンスで満ちてます！この日曜日も誰かが新しいことにトライした日だった！新しい事にチャレンジして達成できることは素晴らしいね。FJCではみんながなにか新しい事にチャレンジすることを応援していきたいです！

This week, Ty led the FJC band for the first time. The other members of the band were a great help. Joe also translated the message for us this week. Mark's message was about having a winning attitude and about perseverance. Ganbatte! It was a message we all needed to hear-- and an encouragement not to waste time whining about circumstances or waiting for the right ones. Instead, we should take the opportunities that we have sitting in front of us!今週のFJCバンドはタイがリード初挑戦してくれた。他のメンバーも強力なヘルプでした。ジョーも今週のメッセージの通訳をしてくれた。現実の状況に泣き言をいったり、タイミングを待ちすぎて時間を無駄に使わないための励まし、私達みんな聞く必要があった、がんばって！のメッセージだった。目の前にあるチャンスを掴み取っていく励ましをもらった！

Speaking of opportunities, if you are looking for one in music, this Saturday we're going to have an instrument workshop. FUSE band members will showing people how to play! So, if you're interested in learning drums, lead guitar or whatever, show up! We are always looking for new opportunities in the FUSE band, and this is your opportunity! So, if this is something you're interested in, meet us Saturday at 5pm at Noborito! Living OK or Living the BEST??

Fresh is a good word to describe this Sunday's FUSE Jesus Community. It was a little different than usual, but different can be good too! We were missing our good friend Yuiko on Sunday, but Maki and Kengo stepped up to help out in the band. They did a great job! Also, Midori was willing to help make it a great bilingual time-- she translated the message this week!今週のフューズジーザスコミュニティーにはフレッシュという言葉がふさわしかった。いつもと少し違ったけど、その違いも良かった！私達の大好きなゆいこちゃんがお休みだった、でもまきちゃんとケンゴくんが、がんばってバンドの中で助けてくれた。よくがんばった！みどりちゃんもメッセージの通訳を積極的に助けてくれて、素晴らしい時間になった!

Mark asked us what word we would use to describe our life. Do you know what would yours be? His message this week was about Living Ok or Living the Best? It was a great message about priorities behind your dreams and how to make your life really count. There were a lot of really good points! Before we left, we celebrate Mother's Day. Our friend Madoka was with us, so we gave her a flower to say congratulations! あと今週は母の日のお祝いを最後にしました。私達の友達、まどかちゃんが来てくれてたから、お花をプレゼントして母の日おめでとうをつたえました！

Freedom From... and Freedom For...

We had a good time together this week at FUSE Jesus Community. Beside meeting new friends and hearing great music from the always awesome FJC band, we celebrated with Mark and Yuiko their 6th anniversary. All of us agreed that they are an example of how to have an excellent marriage relationship. We also had a first this weekend. Our friend Saki translated the message time for us into Japanese! She did a really great job!

先週もフューズ・ジーザス・コミュニティではみんなとの楽しい時間が過ごせた！新しい友達との出会い、最高な音楽・・・そして、最高な結婚を送っているカップルとしてのモデルだってみんなも思っている2人、マークとユイコの結婚6周年も一緒に祝った！そしてメッセージの通訳者にサキが初デビュー！超よかったよ！
