Karaoke FUSE!!

We had great fun at FJC Saturday as we all went to karaoke together. Thank you to everyone who showed up; it was so awesome to sing and hang out with each of you! But don't worry if you missed this hangout time, because there are many more fun events coming up at FUSE Jesus Community soon. Be watching for info on the International Food Day, Christmas Party, and Ski Trip coming up in December. This week, Debbie spoke on the importance of the choices we make. There are many decisions we make each day, and the power behind our choices is stronger than we realize. This Saturday, Mark will begin a new series called "The Man Who Changed the World." Don't miss the beginning of this series to learn more about who Jesus is.　今週はデビーが「人生で正しい選択肢を選んでいくことの重要さ」についてメッセージしてくれた。日常の中で私たちはいつも選択することが迫られてる。何を選ぶか、何気ない決断も人生におっきな影響力を与えてる！次回のFJCではマークが「世界を変えた男」っていうシリーズを開始します！イエスの素晴らしさ、みんなで知っていこう！

We are the Community!!

This week at FUSE Jesus Community was a blast as Mark spoke on who we are in more detail. The word "fuse" has a few different meanings which our name comes from....to connect 2 things and the spark that sets off an explosion. We want FJC to be the beginning of an explosion of love and life in Japan, and we do that thru connecting with God and others. 前回のFUSE JESUS COMMUNITYは最高だった！マークのFJCの名前の由来に関するメッセージで、絆がもっと深まった！フューズっていうのは、「2つのものをつなげる」っていう意味と、「導火線（爆弾にくっついてる紐）」の意味がある。FJCは、神さまの愛が日本でおっきく爆発する前の導火線であり、神さまと人々、また仲間同士がつながるための場でもある！

Next week at FJC will be special, as we will finish at 4 pm and go to karaoke following. We will be starting right at 3 so come early so you don't miss anything. Then, be prepared for an awesome time hanging out and singing for a couple hours with the group. It will be lots of fun!次回のFJCはいつもと少し違うよ！３PMスタート、４PMに終了、その後はみんなでKaraoke-♪３PMぴったりのスタートになるので、みんな遅れないでね！そのあとのKaraokeで、みんなと盛り上がろう！超たのしい土曜の午後になるよ！

The message this Saturday at FUSE Jesus Community is called "Red pill or Blue Pill - the Power of Choice." Debbie will speak on the affect that decisions make on our life. Halloween Party

This weekend, many people were out wearing costumes as Halloween was celebrated. This week at FUSE Jesus Community was no different; Darth Vader, a ninja, Elmo, a pig, a laundry basket, and many more arrived to have fun with the music, playing limbo, and hearing a great message.今週のFUSEでは、ハロウィンパーティ！みんな仮装して登場。ダースベーダー、忍者、エルモ、ブタちゃん、洗濯バスケット･･･バンドのライブとリンボーゲームでみんな盛り上がり、Carenの素晴らしいメッセージに心打たれました！
The message this week was given by Caren. She spoke on God's love and what true love is really like. She spoke about how God's love is available for anyone, no matter what.前回のメッセージは神の愛について。真実の愛って、口で言うのは簡単だけど、本当は一体どんなものなんだろう。神の真実の愛はみんなのためにあって、無条件に受け取れるものなんだよって、Carenが語ってくれました！

FUSE JESUS COMMUNITY...!!!!

This week signified a new start as there were some changes at the FUSE. Mark spoke about these changes. Perhaps the most noticeable change is the name; instead of just being referred to as the "FUSE", we are now being called "FUSE JESUS COMMUNITY"!! We want to emphasize that this is not just an event, but a community full of relationships that last all week long between each other and God. 今週のFUSEは、新たな始まりの詰まった集まりになった!Markが話してくれたように、その中でも一番大きなChangeは、この集まりの名前。今までは"The FUSE"って呼んでたけど、これからは"FUSE JESUS COMMUNITY"になりました!!何でか?っていうと、これがただのイベントなんじゃなくて、たくさんの友達、そして神さまとの絆を深めていくコミュニティであって、そのつながりは毎週土曜だけじゃなくずぅっと続いてくんだよっていうFUSEの全貌をみんなにもっとよく知ってほしかったから!!

Though many of the surface things are changing during this time, our heart remains. FUSE JESUS COMMUNITY is still focused on building relationships with people and with God, bringing hope to everyone we meet, and having a fun time together!! 名前の変化とか表面的なことが変わっても、私たちのハートは変わらない!FUSE JESUS COMMUNITYは人と神さまとのつながりにフォーカスしてて、出会う人みんなに希望をシェアして、一緒にエキサイティングな時間を過ごしたいっていうコアな部分は変わってないんだ!

There was also a lot of awesome dancing this week. From the group on stage, to Tokumasa breakdancing on the floor. From the dance-off game where Debbie taught a dance to see who could do it best, to everyone dancing during the FUSE Band music. It was awesome to see everyone's moves and the freedom in the music. 前回のFJC（FUSE JESUS COMMUNITY）では超クールなダンスユニットも登場してくれた!Tokumasaのブレイクダンスも最高!DebbieのDance-Offゲームでもみんな大盛り上がり♪ダンスの余韻はThe FUSE Bandのライブにも続き、音楽に合わせてみんなが踊る様子はもう最高だった!

Gospel is Good News!!!

Last week at the FUSE, we heard Smiley Yasu's story of what God had done to change his life. Following that, Mark shared on what the word "Gospel" really means. Gospel is another word for "good news." This specifically speaks of the good news of how Jesus traded his righteousness for all the bad we've done, so that we can come before God.前回のFUSEでは、我らがSimely Yasuによるライフストーリーのシェアリングがありました♪神さまがどんな風に彼の人生を変えてくれたかを話してくれたよ！続いてMarkのメッセージ、「ゴスペルってなんだ？？」。ゴスペルの語源は”Good News”だって知ってた?イエスが私たちの汚い部分を全部無償で負って、彼の聖さを私たちにくれる。それがGood　Newsなんだよ！

Living as "the new me"...

Who would've thought it'd be so difficult to throw balls around? At the FUSE this past week, balls were flying everywhere as people got to test their juggling skills. First one ball, then two balls, then three balls...to see who could hold out the longest.　ただボールを投げるだけ・・・なのになんでこんなに難しい?!前回のFUSEではジャグリングゲームで大盛り上がり。ボールがライブハウス内を飛び回る!!1つのボールから始まって、最終的には一気に3つ・・・Kくんが最後まで一番長くJ-Gと対戦したよ!おめでとー♪

After collecting all the balls and hearing more music from the FUSE Band, there was an awesome message called "Living as the New Me." When we begin to live in Christ, as was shared in the previous message, we no longer have to let our emotions control us. It is possible to say no and base our choices on facts and faith, not feelings.　ボールのお片づけをみんなで済ませた後は、FUSEバンドのライブと、”「新しい自分」として生きる”っていうメッセージ。イエスと共に生きる人生をスタートさせたら、私たちはもうこれ以上自分の感情の奴隷になって生きる必要なんてない。暴走する感情にNOって言って、移り行く感情に左右されない、「神さまにとって自分は宝物なんだ」っていう事実を基礎に人生を歩んでいけるんだよ！

Now, the phrases "Gospel music" and "Gospel choir" may be familiar to you. But what does the word "Gospel" really mean? Where does it come from, and what does it have to do with our lives? The message for the next FUSE will be "What is Gospel?" where we will get a glimpse behind the word to it's actual meaning. Finding True YOU!!

Hi everyone! Another report from the last FUSE! We had a crazy game making 'balloons' with your mouths... Chewing gum! 4 guys competed who can blow the biggest balloon with as much gum as you want in your mouth!　みんな元気？前回のFUSEの報告です！口を使って’風船’を作るっていうクレイジーなゲームで盛り上がったよ！そう、チューインガム♪4人の参加メンバーが入れたいだけガムを口に入れて、一番おっきな風船をふくらませるのは誰か？！を競いました♪

Caren shared her story of how she met Jesus and how He healed her past wounds, and filled her life with joy! The message from Mark was about 'Identity -finding true me'. Have you ever thought about your identity? We tend to find our identities in our environment, status, friends... etc, but did you know that we can actually find our identity in something much bigger and greater? That's God! And He says that we are worthy and beautiful in His sight. Isn't that amazing?? This coming FUSE, message will continue on talking about identity issue -'Living as the new me'. Don't miss it! そして、カレンがLife Storyをシェア。イエスと出会ったことで、彼女がどんな風に過去の傷から癒され、今は喜びでいっぱいの人生を毎日歩いているかを語ってくれたよ。マークのメッセージは、’アイデンティティ　-本当の自分ってだれ？’。アイデンティティについて、みんな考えたことある？周りの環境や仕事、友達とかに自分のアイデンティティを見つけがちだけど、それよりもっとおっきくてすばらしいものに自分のアイデンティティを見出せるんだってこと知ってる？それは、神さま！神さまの目には、私たちはみんな価値があって美しいって言ってくれている。それってすごくない??次回のFUSEでは、引き続きアイデンティティについてのメッセージ、’「新しい自分」として生きる’だよ！聞き逃さないでね！
